Biggs Released

Blown out of proportion or what.
The same crime nowadays would get a 1-2 yr sentence and perhaps even a suspended sentence at that.
Rot in jail is for mass murderers, child killers/abusers etc
He should have been released donkeys years ago.

You can kill people / kids etc and expect a light sentence - but steal money from the "man" and you're gonna get shafted !

Just because other people have had laughably low sentences doesn't mean that he should get away with it.
He was involved in a serious crime, escaped his punishment, and ran off to Brazil. He then comes back when he became ill and suddenly wanted the benefits of the National Health Service (that I'm pretty sure he's never helped pay for).
There are 18yo kids being killed in Afghanistan in service of this country. I don't see why that thieving old c**t should get to die comfortably in a bed when they'll never get the chance too.
Moral of the story - screw British society, commit a major crime, **** off to Brazil, become a bit poorly, then run back and you'll be treated like a ****ing hero.
He's committed theft twice in my opinion - it's a shame our spineless government won't have the guts to seize all of the proceeds of crime that him and his son are living off.
