all the window rubbers where brand new and didnt seem to be flaking or anything was a real good paint job to be fair,
it didnt say anything on the log book mate.

 

He is wrong for not stating it's a Cat C but how is he wrong in selling what he legally bought?
Perhaps overpriced but if someone pays that and doesn't get it checked 1st then who is the mug?

 

i didn't think it was illegal to not state that a car was on the hpi register, even if you know. but if asked then you have to own up and say that it is. pretending it's not and all is hunky dory is a no no. anyway, who still buys a car without doing an hpi check. you can get text check ones now for £3 the buyer would be stupid to not do it imo.

 

correct matt, if the car is being sold privately then the seller does not have to state if it's been some sort of insurance job unless asked. However, if the car is being sold by the trade then the seller must state the history. Found this out when i found out my old scoob was a cat d when i tried to sell it.

apparently he wasnt told about the cat c,nor was it recorded,he said when he phoned you up about it you just put the phone down

Just to make you all aware this guy is a complete fraud! For starters he never told me the Subaru was a cat c as he states. Of course as soon as I was told by a person that posted on here I rang up DVLA and they confirmed it is not a Cat C or of any other cat and it is HPI clear.

I called the bloke today to find out what was going on but when I got through to him he put them phone down on me, then text me saying he's had to pay out £450 on bm for new breaks and pads... Which I know is a lie cause it only went through MOT less than a month ago.

I don't know what his problem is or maybe he just enjoys to bitch like a little school girl.

The only reason I'm getting rid of this car so soon is because my partner is too scared to drive it as is to fast otherwise would love to keep it as it is a nice car just a shame about previous owner. Not that I should have to explain my reasons why I want to get rid of MY car anway!

The brakes actually did cost me just under £250 fitted to the car had to have new discs on the back and pads on front and rear and you knew this your excuse was the pads need changing as they have glazied over where you hardly used the car,then i had to pay ,the other £198.66 was for an air bag weight sensor removal and fitting and to have the air bag light turned off i have receiots for all work carried out and parts.yes you called me yesterday ranting and raving about what we had put on here,and i would be hearing off your solicitors,i havnt got time to hear s**t like that when my partner just had a baby girl on friday.
Then you threaten to come and take the bmw away from me with the spare keys that you have got,that i believe is a criminal offence,not that it bothers me in the least as like i told you i no longer have the bmw.

I've read everything you've put on here most of it rubbish also the fact you said you put £250 on top it was £500 your obviously a bit messed up or a compulsive liar! You never told me it was a cat C and I don't understand why you are now saying it is. I've already spoke to DVLA they assure me there's no cat on this car. As for what your saying you paid on the BM I don't understand how this is when there was nothing wrong with it just needed new break pads which I had already bought and gave you in the deal.

right i got the wrx sorted it was not cat c it was the wrong car they think so the new person i swaped with done the tex thing and was all ok but it has now gone just to let u know i swaped for a focus st170 on a 02 so dont mind what u got for the bmw sorry to every one on here dont know why he put it all on here but u know what some people are like

well folks i can honestly say that i had no idea that the car was a cat c until like i have said all along cuba should me the text check that he had done on the sunday morning when we met.i had no reason to lie,i told him everything i knew about the scoob,i let him look over the car for nearly an hour and he had atleast a 10-15 mile test drive where he was thrashing it,yeh bit of a come down scooby to a focus lol
