Default How much do you think shes worth?

Hi Folks.
Been pondering over the idea that i may have to get rid of the scoob for family commitments,me the mrs 17 month old son and mrs due to give birth to a little girl in 3 weeks,dont want to get rid but my head says yes and heart says no.
well shes a true classic 1993,k plate,showing 88000 kilometres on clock,in white with a lot of red glitter and i mean a lot put in the laquer then put on the car,i think at some point she was black,but like i said white with red glitter,stage 2 ecutek mapping,hks manifold with 3 inch up pipe,3 inch downpipe into 3 inch straight through hks exhaust angled at the rear,new forge recirc dump valve,k+n induction,electronic boost controller,temp,turbo,volt gauges,dvd player,lockwood dials.then normal scooby stuff.
any idea what i should expect to get?

really,i thought more than that been offered 1250 by a dealer in p/ex,and they fetching up to 2and half grand on ebay

I watched 1 go on ebay at the weekend from near me and got £1750 may be he could have got 2k another day you never know you might get a few like it and get alot more than you expected

i think you could get £2k for it,depends on how good the spray job is, if it was black,is it visible in the door shutlines etc ?
also,how well have the black windows seems been painted etc,the once black trim around the window,below it etc

stuff like that

yes you can see in door shuts the trim around the windows is spot on as they where all bought new and painted removed old ones and threw away and fitted brand new ones after they been painted.been to look at a zafira anyway and think im going to p/ex the scooby he offered me £1300 so at least there be ne messing around,i know its not you guys thing but heres a pic of the vxr zafira hopefully be getting.

nice cars the zafira vxr,£1300 p/x isnt a bad deal,selling it yourself you only losing say £700 so not bad deal at all really.

dunno what mpg etc is on those zafira turbo`s tho ?

no think im gonna to go for it to be fair just waiting for monthly figures to come back,combined they reckon 21.9mpg but thats never bothered me to be fair,only use to get 7ish out of my skyline.

hi folks big change of plan th efinance figures came back at stuoid monthly payments on the zafira due to the current credit crunch they reckon.so have swapped the scooby for this,comments please.

The BMW looks very nice.

Your scoob was really nice though, I'd have guessed it would fetch 2500 if you sold cash.

i think if you where to sell the scooby you would have been looking at 1700-2k for it all day. Alot of people on here sometimes give wrong figures, it was worth well more than 1k! as someone above said.

Anyways, enjoy the new car

well found out the scoob was a cat c wite off,wasnt happy,but the bloke believe it or not still wanted to swap for the bmw

Ah I did think the panel gap on the DS rear quarter looked a bit too much, but didn't want to say anything.

yes i swapped the scooby for his bmw in th epic above,he told me he wanted it for a track day car so he wasnt bothered about it being a cat c,he didnt tell me he was going to sell it straight away,i dont know where hes getting his silly prices from either,the paint job was £600,the bailey dump valve is only £108,the manifold cost me £180,the forge recirc only cost me £104 from roger clarke,the flamer kits you can buy off here for £50,and the stereo was about knackered so dont know where he gets £400 from,lik esomeone said it does read like hes had it ages,hes had it all of 2 days.he seemed like an ok guy too.

suppose we all gotta make some £££ so he sells it on.

just check over your bmw properly as he sounds/looks like e gets em cheap etc then passes them on,nothing bad etc i mean just double check it

have checked it all over mate and it is sound,had it hpi'd on sunday,thought id do that after he told me the scoob was a cat c,all came back cool,mileage is all stamped by bmw dealers,all old mot's tally up,checked it all seems good,even got offered 4grand for it earlier by my mate,was going to accept.but i really do like the bm

is defo worth more than 1k if you keep quiet about the cat c

there was a white one down my way with a blow headgasket that fetched 1k,i would pay 2.5 if i never knew about the cat c,your rear bumper looks a different colour tho

dont get that bmw,ive had loads and they are really really dull cars

just remember white subarus sell better than any other colour,plus yours has low miles

already got the bmw mate, and shes fantastic,all i used to have years ago was bmw's,ive had 316,325sport,e30 m3,had an alpina b3,535 sport,then a 325tds,i love bm's

ive had bm's for years aswell,had 325 touring 520i and other 3 series,had a red m5 that i out ran the police in,i used to rebuild vw's but got bored of german cars and got my 1st subaru which was an sti wagon,had it for 3 troulbless years and now ive got a blobeye

if i never baught my blobeye 3months back i would have baught yours,looks stunning white and i like the alloys aswell,did you swap it??

yes swap plus i gave him £250 the scoob was 1993,88k miles,a cat c needed little interior cosmetics done,the bm is a 2001 325 sport,fsh,absolutly mint outside and inside.

honestly i really like the white scooby,would expect to pay atleast 2.5-3k for it

it was a cat c write off,photos did look better than what it was like,got pissed off with it being unreliable

What a C*nt, hes had the car 2days and already selling it on, people like him **** me off.

He has not even stated it's a cat c write off.
Now some unlucky buyers going to get ripped of.
