Yep, funnily enough it was one of your posts about rotated vs std postion was a factor

I still don't know why I'm doing it as the 16g is sweet on a 2ltr.

Time to give that box of yours some grief

IIRC there are some TD04s that have done low 13s. I was doing 13.4s on my first visit to Pod with fulltrim and junk in the boot.

Off the top of my head: Anything over 450bhp and like for like a rotated turbo will perform better than std position. I think that is backed up by the results on this thread too.

Ive tried r888 but it seems to get too much grip I can get 1.60 60fts all the time with road tyres but with r888s on I can only get 1.7/1.8s. I know its weird but true, I am just changing turbo at the moment so should easy be over 500/500 at lowish boost so should see a a high 10 fingers crossed.

I will leave Bob to post his version, but in basic terms he thought the rotated comp cover (Something that could be done to any of these turbos), the custom downpipe (All of these cars need a decat of some kind to get to these levels) and the fact you couldn't fit it to a topmount intercooler (Again not something I would advise at 560hp, lol) all meant that it should be placed in the rotated section.
As this is Bobs thread, I agreed to disagree and we left it at that.

Updated to "Rotated/Non-Standard Position"

All the turbos listed as "standard position" (afaik) can be fitted straight onto your existing setups, by just swapping the turbos.

Non-standard position turbos require custom installs.

This is my take on it anyhow - I have no vested interest in any particular turbos or turbo wars.
