Just one question for you... just reading the instructions - at the bottom it says "if required at stage 8 above, wires can be solder to the cut resistor and run to a dash or ECU case mounted switch. Thus enabling a 2-stage boost setting"
I take it when the J1 resistor is connected it only does standard boost and when its disconnected it runs the boost setting of the chip?
Could be a good idea for track to pass noise regs maybe?

My bro has just ordered me one for my birthday top bro! I have a 1995 wrx running turbo back decat system and kn induction kit. I have just pulled 270 on a power run and boost at 0.9. I will post the reults when i recieve and fit the chip !!
My bro ordered paid for one today for me but it dint paste the spec on properly but he sent you a email with it after did ya recieve it mate? Cant wait to get mine and get it fitted!
Yours will be in the post tomorrow, Steve.
Yes, got the email, Bry. Yours will be posted tomorrow too mate.
Might be able to get yours in the post too, Steve!

hey mate. any left?
im wanting one too.
what is the specs of the chip eg boost level ect.
will i notice a good difference? i have 1995 wrx with decat, tubular headers, hks intake, fmic, walbro 255 pump? cheers bobby

If this is done will a resistor have to be put inline on the switch wire, just wonderd what the point of the resistor is.
I've replied to your PM, but in the meantime, have a quick read of my FAQ. It'll answer all your questions.
Hi Worbs, the resistor is part of the ECU. It gets cut (not removed) during the installation of the chip. If you reconnect it, the ECU uses the original map. Hope that clarifies.

Sorry to get all technical just could fancy the idea of running standard map at the flick of a switch if anyone else drives my car, but dont want to kill the ecu if the resistor is there limiting current etc.
Not really lol sorry, iv got the chip in my ecu but the j1 resistor has been totaly removed, if i wanted to put in a switch to run standard map would i need to use the j1 inline, what does it do, i mean in terms of the ecu i no what a resistor does, if you where to just link the j1 legs without the resistor would it be ok.

PM'd you back, Jon.
All other PMs replied to (including the ones asking for advice about chips supplied by other people!)
