PMs replied to

@drischnie: Regular price would be £103.80 (£3.80 to cover paypal charges). International shipping I would ask another £5 to allow for a 'signed for' service and insurance.

The 112mph/180kph speed limiter that all unofficial Japanese imports have is removed with these chips

All PMs replied to and all chips are now spoken for with a couple to post out

If I can get any more, I may do another (limited) run depending on interest. Unfortunately, the chips are in short supply worldwide.

I have same chip in my 93 wrx and it boosts well past 1 bar wich is 14.5psi(my gauge stops at 1) i think so something wrong there. Did you give right details of car to major as i think there is 2 different maps for different scoobys depending on turbo etc.

Definitely the correct chip. It should make around ~16psi.

Hmm. It could be a tired actuator or boost control solenoid. Can you swap out the solenoid with a friend and try that?

Well, that is odd. You're the only one that has low boost like that. Let me have a word with my more technical friend and I'll get back to you. Don't worry, I won't ignore you. We'll figure it out. It might be easier to do this via email, use the address you PayPal'd me with. First of all we have to ensure that the map is definitely engaged. Email me with exactly how you installed the chip.

I've managed to get hold of some more chips. Good news for the few people who missed out on the last lot. I know I said I wouldn't get any more, but these came up and they're hard to find these days!

Check out my signature for a link to the new FAQ. Loads of people asking the same kinds of questions last time, so I thought it'd be easier for everyone if I made a list of the most commonly asked questions and answers. It goes without saying that if you have questions that aren't covered, PM me and I'll do my best to give you a clear answer ASAP.

Hmm quite interested in one of these, but dunno if it will do much for my import classic thats running 310bhp (engine)

Has
-Headers, up pipe, decat, magnex exhaust
-Apexi Induction kit
-Front mount
-Oil Cooler

Standard WRX turbo i think (not checked whats on it), standard injectors

Also has a manual boost controller, but will probably remove that

What you think?

Well, it may be running 310 bhp but how safely at the moment? Your car isn't mapped for UK fuel, so if you're running non-standard boost, you're risking your engine.

The chip will give you similar power, but with a fuel/ignition map to suit.

Its a 93 so is mapped for uk fuel (they didnt have the high ron at that point)

Think I'll have one off you, will also need the cradle as well as mine doesn't have one.

Will be able to sell a few bits to fund it now lol.

Thats nothing. When Scott T was selling these a few years back through ebay, they hit £400 a go at one point. I didnt pay far off that myself when I had one at the time. Luckily I made a fair bit back when I sold it on.
