Renegado, yes, the chip should fit, but you need to check to see if your car has the intercooler square to the bulkhead (not chippable) or angled (chippable).

If your car still has the factory boost control solenoid, it would be worth removing the manual boost controller as the ECU when remapped will control the increased boost.

Also, no point in you buying a chip until you've done the turbo swap

After getting mine fitted properly, it seems to be driving very well. Seems more powerful lower down the rev range, and more pull through the gears, bearing in mind I still have a completely standard engine, and standard downpipe!! Thanks again mate.

P.s is it alright to run on RON99, or only RON97 fuel?

99 RON's fine mate. Glad to hear it's working nicely for you

You will definitely feel the benefit more with some basic breathing mods.

Fitted this chip to my totally standard MY96 UK wagon......
OMG ...best £100 i've spent, this is some serious bangs for the buck and again im running standard downpipe etc etc.

Pulls like a train from lower down the revs, will top a ton in 3rd before u can blink!

Really easy to fit even for a pencil monkey like me

The best advice i can give is...GET ONE!!!

Hi John, check that your intercooler is angled to the bulkhead and not square on. If it's angled, PM me and we can go from there
