Saw a white one on the A414 yesterday. Got to say it did look very nice The front looks damn right aggresive and gives the car a bit of character (unlike the latest Impreza incarnation ).

I've got to say that give it a couple of years, and with Fords legendary depriciation, I can see myself it one.

Think the last few RS's have held there money pretty well TBH, The MK1 focus for a low mileage cared for car they are STILL fetching over half the new price.

Very true, but then I can justify spending, say £14k, on a well cared for, low mileage second hand car (like the Scoob ) rather then laying out the sharp end of £30k on a new car that will only come out a few times a month (like the Scoob!!)

Mind you, I have to scratch the 911 itch before I look at the Focus

what a joke!!!

they called me to arrange a test drive after i explained that I would be using it for every day use so i wanted a good few hours test drive!!!

20 minutes on a set route is all they can do?!?!?!

WTF!!!

HTF can you get the feel for a car in 20 minutes and not on a route that you know and have the feel for in other cars

I'm sorry but spending £29k of my hard earnt wonga on a car that i havent really experienced doesnt calculate to good sales IMO

Subaru gladly let me have a STI hatch for a week and mazda let me have the RX-8 for 4 days

6 months wait for a factory ordered RS or there are a 'few' cancelled orders' of RS already built to a spec!!

i know 2 people that had RS's on order, drove them from the dealers and straight to a Subaru dealer to p/x for a Subaru hatc because they couldnt cancel their order.

Gangsta: cheers mate, was a toss up between white or Dark Metallic grey, Paul Flitton said he wasnt chargin me any extra for metallic paint but went for white as i have never had one before. lookiing forward to getting a full detail on it to ease the cleaning times lol

did you manage to sort a WRC style bootspoier yet? i have seen a couple of outrageous kits but no bootspoiler that looks worthy.

Further to our conversation earlier, I’ve phoned about for bids on your Subaru and so far I’m being offered around the £12k mark.

Using £9468.90 from your car as the maximum 35% deposit (therefore giving you £2531.10 cashback), gives you 36 monthly payments of £344 with a MGFV of £9445 at the end of the 3 years.

the subaru on the other hand is £259 p.m over 3yrs and £7800 final payment

go figure what the best car / deal package is.

Says it all really!
I am really tempted by the new shape STi. Been thinking for a while about a change, but need to be in something that when a Subaru goes past (or comes up behind!) I can say to myself, I don't miss my bugeye! Looked at a few TVR Cerberas but don't have the secondary back-up bank account "just in case". Decisions, decisions

The Evo X time is missing, the Wrx Sti was quicker than that as well

BBC - Top Gear - Power Laps

Would be intersting to see what time the Wrx Sti 330S got
