UPDATE
Just got an email off Alan J down at Engine Tuner, the block is assembled ready for fitting with the ancilleries etc, Martyn is back next week so he will put a base map on ready for running in!!
Was hoping to get it back for the meet next week but should have it back for PCAD2
Here's a couple of shots of the engine

Can't wait now!!!

Cheers guys
wont be long now! One of their test cars has seen 505bhp on V Power so will be good to see how much it produces with the Closed Deck block and AVCS
gonna be running a 10% E85 mix too! I think unveiling will be at PCAD on Saturday!

think i'm gonna need some stickier rubber
Nudge, you're more than welcome to talk away
What setup are you going for?
Jury is still out as it all boils down to cash, But thats in the future your set up looks amazing and with power figures to match should be an amazing car to drive!

Was thinking 2.1 stroker with vf34 turbo and larger top mount alan thinks it will be a good daily driver sensible but also has the option for more bhp later on with bigger turbo and supporting mods.

If I'm gonna do it I may as well do it properly the first time

Bugger bugger bugger!!! Not gonna be ready this week now
Alan rang me yesterday to say they're having problems with mounting points for the starter motor etc because of the closed deck block!! Also the pipework for the FMIC has to go a slightly different way!! The custom downpipe went on like a dream
so middle of next week is the new completion date!! Glad he's not gonna rush it TBH but still gutted about PCAD!!
It'll be worth it in the end but with all this rain I don't think I'll be driving in a strasight line for a while

From: S.Wales/Nurburgring/Spa/or a track near you.
Just think of the money you are saving, 12 to 15 mpg at 3000 RPM is going to take some getting used to, and as for the ring, start saving now.
Sure it will sound sweet though, at least you will have it for rally day.

I've been saving the fuel for ten weeks
Should be fun using all that fuel tho John
Might have a 100bhp map put on for long journeys
Rally Day is just around the corner too
