A wee update, the block is being built up atm, CDB has been modified slightly and waiting on the conrods from Holland. As soon as they're here they can carry on creating the monster SimTek is also on its way

In the region of 500 I've been told I'm ordering an ACT clutch from the US so that will easy cope with the extra power

 

Sounds similar to what Lee will be running in his classic Should be an interesting duel up the Pod

The HD kit is a normal clutch, should be a bit nicer to drive than the paddle version I had!

 

Are you going for the 6 spring conventional disc?

Having driven some rally cars with paddle clutches I found them to be very harsh as they either seem to be engaged or not, they seemed very snatchy and not really suitable for 'normal use.

 

Its just the normal road one, didn't want any annoying one! Not gonna be doing many launches

 

Damn you and your drivable clutch!!!!!

I'm getting used to mine now but the noise of the gearbox makes up for the B4stard of a clutch

 

Get an ACT one while the engines out

 

Glad to hear this is coming along Merv, makes my 282bhp seem a bit tame now though
