What happened, Markus, was that a bunch of people who were able to think more laterally than the average bear, got together for a daily dose of mutual ****-taking. The early, dare i say it old-skool Muppets just weren't on the same wavelength, save for a few who unfortunately weren't able to post as frequently as we'd all have liked. There was room for everybody. But not really for anybody whose repetoire ended at a blow-up shark, with all due respect. The cliquiness was utterly unintentional, i think it's that part which so many fail to grasp. People who could think creatively were always accommodated, without fail as far as i remember. Whether the stronger personalities, or more frequent posters, such as myself, yes, should have dictated the direction of events, who's to say. But they did. Muppets evolved, like all growing organisms do.
But did we "agree" with each other? In terms of what we considered to be creatively funny, certainly, but that was the extent of it. Did we tell each other how wonderful we were? Well if we did, i'd like to see the time when anybody said *i* was so damned wonderful!
But what amuses me more than anything, is that the people who were SO desperate to be "accepted" (into what i'm not really sure) are nowhere to be seen now. The place is empty. And you know what. To me that is the ultimate vindication that what we did in there really was noteworthy. I just regret that it was brought to such a shuddering halt by such a one-dimensional personality such as SDB. But as they say, **** happens.

Just **** off, Les. If i'd thought for one second that you'd have even noticed that, i'd grace you with some sort of answer, but that's all you're worthy of on this occasion, sorry.

As a matter of fact, being stricly honest, I did not notice it, largely because I was not looking for any mistakes.
Bearing in mind your own corrections of everyone's spelling and grammar, it was difficult to resist mentioning it, with a little original English, which I too value, thrown in. It was meant as a joke of course.

I must say, I'm disappointed with yoza. The regular trolls of SN are not connected in any way with the ex-inhabitants of the once-thriving Muppet forum, least of all myself. In fact, most of the Muppets who left during SBD's [sic] forcible clearout and went to another forum are not as closely knit as they once were due to natural change of circumstances. The stench of paranoia in here is overwhelming.

.........Which is an event in itself.
Would I be a million miles off if I was to think there was a breakaway ScoobyNet, were people went who were peed off with the way the site was going.
A large group of disruntled muppets, intelligent and dangerous.
Maybe called BOTW, which will be like the 'Land of Milk and Honey', orgies going on everywhere, people being overfriendly with each other and talking about grown up stuff, and post whoring to their hearts content.........{I cant find it by the way, I have tried too.}
Anyway, to join this breakaway group you need to leave this site with a bang....not a Chaos bang, but throw a few profanities about and call the new guy a fat lobser and such like.
Then once your back with the clicky BOTW guysngals and you have snuggled in, your are required to infiltrate the old ScoobyNet every now and again and cause a bit of trouble.
Nothing too bad, just pick a new user name and bait some thick ****** by starting a thread with..." I need a new watch."
I think it would be run by someone like BubbaPoo, he would be GrandMaster of the group but too smart to get involved in the games, yet powerful enough to persuade others to do his work, without them actually knowing they were being manipulated.
The GrandMaster could call in to the real ScoobyNet whenever he felt like, just to show his face, say hello... and pick the next victim.
Maybe Ive had too much sun.
