In what way as don't we have unlimited data use with our contracts, me just thinking it would be great for the lap top when out and about !!!!!!!

After the install the phone has restarted but itunes cannot acces itunes store to finish the instal
network connection keeps timing out, is this my end or itunes overload on their servers?

Jack Ive downloaded and updated my 3g and it doesn't appear to be any different, i thought there was video recording, or am i just being stupid? is there any noticeable difference to the screen? or extra icons?

'Find my iPhone' Superb!! Found my phone to within a couple of feet, displayed a message and sound on the phone and emailed me to tell me it had worked!!

Video is for iPhone 3GS. So, yes, it's probably in the OS 3.0 software update, but the 3G won't use it (someone may hack it to enable it though)

You should see the sound recorder icon if the update went well. Video is hardware and included in the 3Gs.

I can tether mine, got lucky with an app before it was pulled. Used it once for a few minutes and didn't get charged. But can imagine that if I used it all the time it would be noticed.

Oops, ouch, eek!
I must remember when I get to Florida, turn the network OFF and the Wifi ON, and do all my email, messgaing and calls via UMA
Was that in your best Borat voice ?
Had to pick the kids up, play lego, feed the cat, get them to bed, read a bedtime story etc etc all whilst trying to download the blooming update.
So........ I have not had time to really investigate but it is synching with my itunes as we speak to get all my apps back, I have done a few tweaks to it already and now I have a nice drink in my hand, the other half is out at work..then I have the time at last
But first impressions..not bad at all
Sent my first MMS apple style and it was a pic of my scoob Looked great in the message, all bevelled and shiny button like.
Voice recorder is quite cool.
Just going to test the apps and the mobile me find my iphone, have another drink and then have some fun

Voice recorder??? Cor blimey you are easily pleased lol
And I've been plugging my phone into my Alpine iPod stereo for 18 months, it displays album art and has all the functions of the iPod and charges my phone. Now it can also stream via bluetooth.
I take it your phone will be updated to include all of these features too... thought not.
