+ 280 Bhp from a standard TD04 is more likely an optimistic Rolling Road, They just don't have the Puff @ the top end to acheive this . Move up to a TD05 Etc & no problem but as stated the low down grunt suffers a little

Could be worse, i got 240 with full de-cat, green on my00 (TD04). Now just awaiting funds to fit VF34 that i got just over a yr ago and map plus 3 port, fitted pump already.
After the map the car drives no better then the mbc i had fitted set at 1.1 bar.

Sounds like your having same issues as me.
had car looked at driven checked, on and on. Then had changed most things, to find out it was the inlet manifold. Check these gaskets and throttle body gasket.
