IIRC Sleepersy found it restrictive beyond 600.

I've had mines opened up and will be interested on what it'll do with the 70mm TB.
your probebly right about that peter, when i did a run with 2 bar on the dyno the graph changes and starts flatlining, it makes more power but the delivery is all wrong for me, i thought it was cam timing at first, but then when edmy got the power i wanted at low boost the manifold isnt such a problem for me at the moment,
i went out in my car today, and believe me 600hp is more than enough, its insane

Of course 600 is plenty

But is your manifold standard or modded Andy?

Andy is yours mapped on meths or anything else?? I'm soo tremted to buy a t04z! I remember even saying to Peter he should buy one before I knew he had

Your car will always feel different to either mine or Peters as we have the heavier cars and better chassis. My car never feels as quick as my old car with a 20g turbo but it so obviously is

I didn't know they did a loud launch control!

Chy is already modifying my current manifold as he would like to give it a go first to see how if it will cope - I believe he did something similar to that of Peter's one. Will let you know if mine is not up to the job.

Your 8 injector set up with ports for nitrous sounds .....you thought about what fuel rails (you'll need twin I take it) and nitrous set up you are going for i.e. 1 or 2 solenoid set up? Take it "Wizard of _ _ _ ".....comes to mind?

Progress has been still slow lately as the garage has been rammed with paying work.

But i got a front splitter from HT Auto and was modified to fit my set up.
The bottom of the front bumper is going to get chooped clean off and strenghten/support will be put in place to hold the splitter.

It looks weird the now as the bottom of the front bumper is blocking the big FMIC but i will post new pics when it gets chopped.

Oh the turbo outlet will get an alloy 90" bend welded to it and it will be pointing a different direction from before.

Oh and the return from the rad to thermostat housing has been modified to suit my build.
It has been chopped and turned and welded up.

I suspect you will find the REAL stress will start just after the first turn of the key! You are just having your tummy tickled with the engine bay build!

You dont build it yourself being a cheque book tuner and you don't drive it yourself

So indeed, exactly what is the point?

The point is.... it get's used NOW, enters events NOW and WINS NOW!

Also the fact that it don't blow up is also another advantage!

For you.... there are obviously some things that money CAN buy!

Have one of these..... so you can put it next to one of these

Oooo... that's a brave statement! I bet a few tuners thought that as well over the past few months!

Like I think about many others cars..... yours should be quicker. We will have to wait and see next ScoobySprint Season won't we. Don't get sucked in by the fact that I have said I won't do anything to the engine for next season! Certainly going to get the suspension dialled in properly and corner weighted. More power for the sprint will be a dead cert.... at the very least I will flip in to High Boost next year!

I refuse to get my finger nails dirty, so you will undoutedly beat me hands down on costs!

Fai17,
I was trying to big your project up..... you have gone and spoilt it now!
