Don't suppose you'd be able to do a twin scroll version would you? Got a nice new 2.5l forged engine designed for 500/500 that'll be itching for a new turbo once it's run-in . I've been waiting on and hoping for the brand new 450+ twinscroll from a well known importer/tuner but so far there's no firm date

Having got a set of Tomei twinscroll headers/up-pipe and my Milltek downpipe ceramic coated I don't really want to go single-scroll at this stage - but at least the ceramic coated Milltek part would be saleeable with not too much of a financial loss!

Sorry, no twinscroll on the cards. The S206 is a very useable turbo on the 2.5 and we've no doubt it'll run 500/500. We've seen 500 ft lb already, although we've been held back on peak power at the top end on this particular car due to the Samco intake pipe sucking in! We're sorting that out with a custom stainless inlet pipe. We have the first vvt car coming in soon for a 2.1and an S206, and we expect fireworks from that one.

Any more news on the 2.5 set up? Really interested in this turbo myself.

We have a demo car coming down this week with the new 400 turbo on it, so we'll see where it gets us.

We are building a 2.1 new age featuring an S206 at the moment. As soon as it's run in and mapped, we'll stick up the results. We have a few others in the pipeline, so I dare say we'll have an exact match to yours soon!

Sure do! we have a four ramp workshop, full machine shop, dyno cell and fabrication facilities. I can't count the staff as I run out of fingers, but there are a shocking number of them sitting around at snack time!

I have had this turbo recently installed on my car in place of a hybrid gt30. My car is a classic UK wagon, with a 2.5 engine with sti4 heads and ppg gearbox as well as various supporting mods. How does it perform? Well in simple terms, better in every aspect. Low to mid range grunt is vastly improved, with more puff top end too all in a smoother delivery.

I know a lot of people talk power and 1/4 miles times to measure a setup's worth, but to give you an idea of the turbo's flexibility I logged a few accelleration times using a racelogic performance box, to see what its like to live with on the road. The GT30 times were on the drag strip and through the gears, whereas the S206 was timed on the road with a very slight incline.

S206, 25-70 in 2nd gear: 3.8 secs and covered 79.89m
GT30, 25-70 through the gears: 3.6 secs and covered 79.7m.

S206 30-70 in 2nd gear: 3.2 secs
GT30 30-70 through gears 3.3 secs. In 2nd gear 3.9 secs.

As you can see on the road it offers great flexibility.

I hope to get to the drag strip in the near future. My previous best was 12.2 @ 114mph with a 1.9 60ft on the GT30 setup.

Until I get a chance to put the car on a dyno its impossible for me to say what power the car is putting out, but one thing is for sure, it is certainly quicker now

This turbo is well worth considering, and with a very competative price too

That's a big ask, as there are so many ways to get there!
On the basis that we know we can reproduce it, I'll try and give you an idea based on a known path.
Engine rebuild using forged rods and pistons, various choices of 2.0 or 2.1including RCM oil pump, ARP head studs, Cosworth head gaskets, bearings, baffle plate, etc. £4000 drive in drive out inc vat.
S206 turbo and downpipe with fitting and vat, around £1750. (turbo on its own, £1144.25 inc fitting kit and vat)
Simtek ECU fitted and mapped, £1259 inc vat for new age.
Injectors, around £400
Bosch fuel pump for 500 bhp, with swirl pot, fuel lines and fitting £400.
Parallel rail kit £230 inc vat
FMIC £800 fitted inc vat.
Clutch? Helix or AP Racing organic £500

If any of the above is missing, it might not work like you want it to!
Yes, it's a lot of money, but a Ferrari would cost a whole lot more, and may not keep up.
