cusco cage was about £500 from the guys at Revolution
Went in fairly straightforward had to use longer bolts than supplied but fine other than that
now its striped even more it may have been better to go for a weld in through dash but hindsight is great

cheers

A sensible 315/305 on a hybrid td04 and the usual supporting mods(see my garage)

also took out the aircon fan today as ripped the aircon out last year so not really required

thats amazing mate, one of the nicest iv seen. Looks like a lot of time, effort and money have gone into it. Bit of a noob question but whats the benefit of putting the battery etc in the boot?

Great car...true track day weapon
Would think the batteries in the boot just to give more room in the engine bay although the added weight over the back wheels could help with traction I suppose.

You would save so much more weight if you just removed all the sound deadening tar and the heavy rubbermat behind the dashboard. The glovebox, centerconsole etc weights nothing compared to those things... I know this becouse ive stripped my interior down to remove the sound deadening this week.

If you do that you will have a lighter car that dont looks like crap inside

i am planning to remove the seats to take the sound deadening out soon but putting off as its supposed to a pig of a job but at least it costs nothing aluminium door cards are in now so looks a fair bit tidier inside

battery in boot was just a project i fancied doing but it does clear a lot of space in the engine bay especialy with the washer bottle in the boot also
