been busy lots of pics of my classic
intercooler spray bottle,comes standard on a newage spec c afaik
hunted for one for ages then eventually got one from RCM
holds 12lts and lasts for a fair while
had to adapt the brackets but not too much hassle

cusco cage was about £500 from the guys at Revolution
Went in fairly straightforward had to use longer bolts than supplied but fine other than that
now its striped even more it may have been better to go for a weld in through dash but hindsight is great

Door cards removed....got some 1mm aluminium sheet on order to fabricate some replacements...fancied carbon door cards but a bit pricey although they are lovely
airbags and control unit out and mounted a volt and water temp gauges in the space
passenger airbag weighs a ton
also removed the head unit,door speakers while was at it
head lining,remaining trims and glove box all removed
made some footwell plates with some spare chequer plate
thats about it nowt left really
oh and getting sparco boot latches fitted tomorrow

Would think the batteries in the boot just to give more room in the engine bay although the added weight over the back wheels could help with traction I suppose.

a friend of mine recently had my water bottle from the back of my spec c race car and mounted it in his classic they are cool looking i didnt want to take it out but were looking for a feather so it had to go in the skip with most of the rest of the car

You would save so much more weight if you just removed all the sound deadening tar and the heavy rubbermat behind the dashboard. The glovebox, centerconsole etc weights nothing compared to those things... I know this becouse ive stripped my interior down to remove the sound deadening this week.

i am planning to remove the seats to take the sound deadening out soon but putting off as its supposed to a pig of a job but at least it costs nothing aluminium door cards are in now so looks a fair bit tidier inside

battery in boot was just a project i fancied doing but it does clear a lot of space in the engine bay especialy with the washer bottle in the boot also
as promised a few updated pics
relocated to an offset square number plate and will mount an oil cooler at the front eventually
also as now running simtek removed the maf housing and relaced air box with k&n apollo and cai
