Sorry I haven't replied up until now - been a little on the busy side at work
Best thing to do would be to call the local station direct (if you know the number). I would advise against the use of 112
. Otherwise, contact you local force when you get home and ask to speak to someone in Traffic, at least they can make a note of it for "future reference".

Quick note: This applies to dogs too, restrain your dog (ideally with a proper dog guard) otherwise they can fly forward with HUGE force in an impact (even small ones)... our dog's protected by a proper Subaru dog guard in the back of the wagon for his and our safety. He's NEVER anywhere else in the car when it's moving.
