Interesting.... I was very impressed with the md321t when Matt recently mapped one on a 2.0L with vvc. On stock internals the car made circa 430bhp and 390lbs/ft, the turbo has some lag but if you drive well it is not a problem. When boost came on it was brutal and just pulled and pulled to the redline... that sti would spin up all 4 continuously. I am defo considering a scooby and will most likely be a v3 like yours... just waiting for the right one. I would love the 555 version but wouldnt be within my budget having an evo x too.

Kind regards,
GUM

Saq, I don't see why there is a need to travel that far when a specialist is around the corner from you.

If the thread was asking if TRL are better than JGM at mapping then your not going to get a straight answer.

TRL and other tuners will have their followers who will not go to anyone else, and recommend everyone to use them.

JGM's been in the Subaru tuning scene for years on end, and is renowned within the Subaru community for his great results.

The question is why would you want to take it elsewhere??

Matt at TRL mapped my Evo7, and I have to say he did a phenominal job- it had been mapped by RC and was absolutely horrible to drive. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Simon JGM has mapped a couple of cars for me- excellent work- and I think it was Simon that recommended Matt and TRL in the first place, so you can rest assured he has an excellent reputation. Bob has mapped for me several times, and so has Richard Bulmer- and AndrewC off SN mapped my current hawkeye STi - once again, all excellent.

The only mapper I've ever had issues with- and they were serious issues- was that bloke that used to map for scooby clinic (never had any issues with SC- just thought I'd make that clear- they've always been great and the mapping wasn't done through them). Others seem to love him, but he left my car in a dangerous state on two separate occassions then wouldn't answer the phone to put it right.

Give Matt at TRL a go, or AndrewC, AndyF, Bob, Richard etc. They're all great.

Simon will be convenient for you as he travels to your, rather having to drive up to Halifax for TRL.
