No airbags in these, just great support.

Took a lot of work to get them to fit properly but worth the effort, soooo much better than the standard seats.

Just had a 330s in with ringland breakage, so seems to me ppp isnt a fix either thats 2 up here thats gone in 3 months

I've just booked Duncan to get mine mapped correctly.

Not taking any chances with so many going pop.

Recaro's look great mate... my recaro's have frayed on the drivers outer wing (driver access/departure rubbing). So I've got Subaru UK on the case (car ony done 24k)

Question for the 330s owners with Recaro's - is the steering wheel slightly off centre (to the left)? It's something that I've noticed now the narrower CS's are fitted to my car (and suspected was the case with the standard seats).

Geometry has now been done and car is a weapon, no doubt about it - hopefully get a decent drive at the weekend

Having had Scoobies for 10 years I have never experienced problems of losing grip. Has the Hatch gone backwards from previous models, has there been a weight distribution change or has the length altered significantly? Don't understand it really, spun mine before Xmas through 360 + when travelling down hill in lane with a tractor coming around the bend and then again today with a cattle truck coming at me in the lane fortunately only sided before the front wheels found something to grab and correct. Never had any of this with my previous Hawk, Bug or Blob is it the car or just the weather being so bad?

Mine's been unsettled ever since changing my tyres to F1 Eagles.

It felt much more planted on the dunlops.

22mm Rear ARB seams to be the recommended mod to get the car to handle better..

were you previous scoobs handling tuned or standard?

the hatch is 3" wider and an inch shorter the the hawkeye

The standard Dunplop SP sports 600 tyres are meant for summer use only.

The potenza's were a great alround on my WRX so maybe a beeter choice.
With the Recaro seats, slide them back as far as they go before you get out and the side wings will last a lot longer.

All standard with the odd exception of PPP and all has standard tyres which I accept are more suited to summer use but again the previous cars with same tyres seem to hold much better. My last one rescued my stranded family and got us all home in the bad snow last year, not sure I would risk it in the hatch. As for the three inch extra width does anyone else find themselves driving very close to the white lines on normal A and B roads thought I was going mad by driving so close to the lines but I guess its the extra width!

Would this help much when you hit ice though? Just expect an AWD car to at least keep a reasonable straight line at low speed as long as they weren't all skating on ice. Don't do enough miles to change tyres through the seasons but when the standard ones go will put all weather ones on.

I'd say the weather, I originally started to write up here about the tail happy handling and the quirks of the new DCCD system and how to solve it/drive around it, but then I saw your later post that mentioned ice...

Out of interest what settings do you usually run the car on (DCCD & VDC)?

I set the VDC to traction mode (green symbol on the dash) and the DCCD to Auto for normal driving, and set the DCCD to Auto - or manual control when I want to have fun

In the snow/ice I turn off the VDC (orange symbol on the dash) and set the DCCD to Auto +, car chugged along like a tractor, even on the summer tyres, in the recent heavy snow

Have got my hatch (we really should think of a better name than that!) to where my last scoob was now handling wise, the hatch is fine after a few mods mate

Have you got F1 GDS3's (directional tread pattern) or the F1 Assymetrics mate?

I had F1 GDS3's and the hatch doesn't seem to get on with them, the F1 Assy's I've got now are much better though..

I chose with my heart not my head... I love the V-tred design of the GDS3's and I used to have Toyo Proxies on my 2003 STI which were fab.. so I ignored the Eagle asametrics.

Once you open her up the front end is just scrabbling for grip the whole time.... even in the dry.... awefull tyre... If you want to "get on" I'm having to select "Auto -" on the DCCD just to keep it more ballanced.

I'll be putting the Dunlops back on when they die

It is possible to do a group buy as we do this with many forum/clubs.

It will be very hard to get that price of £515.94 again as all MagnaFlow
Products prices have gone up this year.

The price that's showing on magnaflowshop.com is a special order price, that
means if a item is not in stock and we need to get that within 10days or so.
If the item is in stock it will be considerably lower.
We are due 2x 16824 in around 6-8weeks and will be priced at £589.94, if you
need more I will need confirmed orders by 17th Feb, Wednesday night.

Just drove mine for the second time in 3 weeks, and it just blows me away! my engine is only mildly tweeked compared to some but, f*ck me does it accelerate fast. made me chuckle getting onto empty dual carraigeway and 6500rpm in nearly all the gears. mr Bulmer certainly worked his magic with mine, so much so i think im gonna pay a return visit soonAnd as for the handling, minor mods there, but it just hangs on. long bend onto dual carriageway holding good speed, little flick of the tail(meant), and foot down. all in all just a great impreza, even better car for me with minor tweeks ive done. Subaru Hatch, I lubs it!!

I like the magnaflow but it'll not be here in time (and advertised at £350 in the States..so the mark up for us is hard to swallow)
The Milltek is an obvious one but at £700 it's a bit steep right now
Scorpion? Their cat-back is £500, did someone say they make the Prodive systems anyway?
