After having the car 3 years, 2 of which it's been wrapped in a matte clear vinyl, i spoke again to Robbie at Valet Magic about doing somehting a bit different and original. Now this is going to split opinion but here she is in her new Midnight Purple suit! Its a dark metallic purple with almost a blue and black pearl/flip....photos dont do it full justice!
Needless to say i'm really happy with the new look.....matches the GTC titan exhaust and the titanium lug nuts a treat
Very nice! Godzilla springs to mind ... were you a fan of the early Evo mags
TX.
yes I know David's old wrap, mine is a much deeper/richer purple with the flip/pearl. Incidentally David now has a matte clear wrap on his like i use to have previously!
Speak to Robbie at Valet Magic, price depends on type of vinyl, size of car, door shuts etc etc
Car looks awesome mate!!!
Thanks this my favourite colour want my blob sprayed like this but thought if I ever had to sell it be worth nothin.. So thinking of wrap! Now seen how good yours looks wow!!
Whilst I do love the car, I can't help thinking it looks like someone's done a poor lacquer finish on a new paint job. These vinyl finishes have come a long way though, amazing what they can do these days.

The midnight purple paint is about £6k all in, then with chips etc you will never be able to match it. The wrap is cheaper initial outlay an chips/scratches easily rectified with just rewrapping the problem panel

I know what your saying, was a concern of mine too. Need to leave it 2/3weeks to cure then get some wax on it which will give it more depth and sheen. It the flesh it doesn't look as flat as some of the pictures, like I say the photos don't do it justice at all
