Default Alignment advice

Having had a successful day yesterday getting the bc coilover, super pro track rod ends and ball joints all fitted it's time for a decent alignment set up.

Any advice on something for a daily drive that improves with speed. Need it to be wife friendly but also something I can enjoy on the odd occasions I get freedom.
Should I hold off till I finish the quick refurb of winter wheels then realign come summer again?
Cheers in advance
Phil

Default Help required!!

I'm a divot!!! I shorted out power supply cables when installing a reversing camera and blew the 20amp back up fuse in engine bay fuse box. I replaced the fuse but now getting P0600 code and won't reset. Car is in limp mode and speedo will not work. Sweeps on start up then does nothing. Is there another fuse to check? Been through both fuse boxes inc back up fuse in cabin and all seem good. Any info or diagrams would be awesome.
Car is a 2008 sti 2.0 import.

Cheers Chris

ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS)(H4DOTC) > Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)
DTC P0600 SERIAL COMMUNICATION LINK
NOTE:
For the diagnostic procedure, refer to LAN section.

To progress any further with this DTC you need the ability to interrogate the Body Integrated Unit.

Thanks mate. Is this main dealer only then? Or would a local specialist be able to interrogate?

Unless anyone else says otherwise I'd say a main dealer and SSM.

Dealer only for the BCM, Not aware of any diagnostic equipment on the market in which will talk to that particular module.

Considering a carbon bonnet, what are people's thoughts, who has one?

I went for the oem look version.........

Which allows you to refit all the bonnet fixtures and fittings

After 2 years of 24/7 exposure to the elements the gel coat had begun to go milky so now wrapped in matt black vinyl, as is the matching bootlid

Thanks for the info Don, looks good, shame the finish only lasted 2 years though.

So there is no UV protection wax or something that can be used?

Do the vented bonnets not allow normal fitment? And finally who fitted the aerocatches?

It has sat outside on the drive for 2 plus years, have used protection, but i think its more to do with the fibre glass inner panel ( used for the oem style inner skin) retaining moisture. Similar situation with the leading edge of the bootlid (car usually parked facing down a slight slope - so where water last to run off).

I expect they do but not to the same degree - you would need to confirm with the manufacturer you choose.

A couple of things I had to do.

Replace the bonnet struts with the Spec C (ally bonnet) versions, which are not so strong, otherwise you can cause damage trying to shut it.

The loop for the oem bonnet catch was slightly longer, so had to lower the bonnet catch mechanism on the slam panel further than allowed by the adjustment available.

I fitted my own aerocatches.

Where they are located, with the pins screwed through the rubber stops, allows the catch body to just fit within the double skin. (Double lock nut and large washer underneath the pins)

Was available for MY09 onwards but not in the UK

OEM was full tilt and slide (between roof and headlining) - as above.

Item shown looks two piece tilt, so aftermarket.

Looks good on any Scoob , just like all the R205 parts people put on there hatches as long as it looks good why not

Black car with black interior and no air con in the summer can get a bit warm so it does do a great job of getting air into the car and cooling things down so it wasn't just fitted for looks
