I`ve got another question now;! does your fuel pump ( or something in the back of the car) whir under moderate to hard acceleration, as if it has two levels of operation ? Thanks

Make sure u have the wifi obd and not the Bluetooth one. Never noticed the fuel pump noise and have a very quiet exhaust so would have. Just changed it out for a 340lph and its just as quiet.

Could someone confirm a genuine STi 08/09 front splitter will fit my 2010 330s ?

forgive my lack of knowledge..
But I have an oil leak under my car. Th garage told me it could be the crank seal (I may be wrong as it was a few days ago) anyone had this issue before?
Seems to be coming from th back of the engine / above the oil sump.

Air Con Compressor Interchangeable?
So my STi aircon compressor is squealing like a bitch, even after a full aircon service today, so I'm looking at a replacement. There are loads of WRX hatch ones available cheap (used) but the STi ones are more than double, are they really that different?
I know the part numbers are different 73111FG001 for the STi 73111FE040 for the WRX.
Also, if the squealing is from the clutch assembly, can that be repaired rather than replace the whole compressor?

My mate services aircon but I could only get to him today and he drained it, replaced the valves and refilled it and it works a treat but the compressor is still squealing a bit so my guess is it's more terminal than just needing regassing. My mate said get a compressor from a breakers and we'll swap it over, hence my question about the price!

I'm not sure, mine was squealing when I test drove it nearly 2 years ago and the garage 'refilled' it prior to me collecting it and the problem went away. Over the last few months I've occasionally noticed the recirc light flash when I start the car, which I googled to find that it means the AC is upset about something. At the same time I noticed that the squealing had started again.

Team Dynamics back from Platinum Alloys having been refurbed in dark anthracite.

No you don't need to. You can unclip the front section of wheel arch liner and fold it down to gain access to the rear of the front bumper.

Looks great! Can you post a pic of the trims, and what process did you use to paint them ? Matt or gloss? Cheers Hedge
Finally
Last Saturday I finally parted with MY08 Sti Euro spec after nigh on eight years ....
It was on 70k and absolutely immaculate. It is being sold on by Stan Palmers with a brand new 2016 Sti engine....
