Thought I had better introduce my self on here. I've recently purchased a Jdm hatch STI that was advertised on here from ryanj1993 about 6 months ago. Car was pretty standard so have started modding to my taste.
So far I have done...
Rear shocks replaced
Rear anti roll bar bushes uprated
Rear lights retinted
Headlights restored and tinted
Panel filter
Engine diff and gearbox oil service
Pollen filter
Interior plastics painted
App radio installed
Obd reader and dash command. Still to play about with it and hook it up to the screen.

Future plans are full h&s decat system with custom 4" quad tips
AEM cold air intake
Cooler plugs
Uprated fuel pump
3 port boost solenoid
Rear subframe inserts
Lowering springs
Front anti roll bar
Replace the white **** with raceseng ashiko.

A few pics

The stereo looks good, been looking at changing mine, was it a straight swap? Do the steering wheel controls still work?

Yeh it is. The Jdm surround doesn't need the adaptor to fit around the stereo. U can order from Japan for about £80

Bits I used to fit a Kenwood HU in my hatch are listed here: https://www.scoobynet.com/ice-2/1018...endations.html

The connect2 stuff can match most headunits to translate the steering wheel controls.

Thanks for the comments. Yeh I have the fog surrounds on my to do list. The bumper has a small scrape on the bottom corner so will get them painted when it goes in to get fixed. What plate would u suggest? I was struggling to get local plate shops to do me a smaller one.

Thanks Salsa though after enquiring with Subaru they are no longer available as they were my first choice. I might try contacting Eibach to see if they do the same spec in non-ProDrive branded springs...

ask Rob Ostle and see if he knows of any anywhere?

I know you can get the Eibach Pro Kit but that has a mental drop of about 30mm
not sure how the handeling would be

There's a blue pro-r eibach kit still available which was approved on the 2011 sti, can be fitted to the 08 sti
the pro kit is also available but isn't for the sti, that's perhaps why the drop is too much

Thanks again guys, had a look on the Eibach site and they only list spacers for my car. A quick trawl of the web has come back with the Eibach Pro Kit and Tein S-Tech, any thoughts on these? I want good handling without too much harshness and a slight drop. Will give Subaru a call on Monday about the Pro-R kit as well.
