I've the side skirt kit.. its really nice, good VFM. easy to fit if you can get under the car to drill the plastic side skirt so you can get the clips in place.

I had the HTautos front splitter until I drove up the grass verge at castle Combe (parking not on track lol) was a good bit of kit that fitted easy and well ,, my only moan is its rigid plastic so it just breaks if you hit anything so I'm looking for something with a bit more flex for my next splitter

BasonR in the States do a few versions and theirs IIRC are a little more flexible but not as nice quality as HT, HT do not need painting where the BasonR sometimes do, I've had two from Bason, one was lovely the other needed a little prep to remove some moulding marks and then a few coats of plastidip.

try some meths or nail polish remover on them, as you may be buying new light cluster anyway

its illegal to paint your rear lights? then why does every other chav box has tinted rear lights. i thought the law was, as long as the rear reflectors are visable and working then its fine ? and since the rear reflectors on ont he lower part of the bumper..

Ran nice and strong standard, better than theyve seen a 330s run before so thats credit to their engine building skills, then ran enough power for what i wanted from the vehicle. he actually lowered the boost compared to the pro drive map, but raised the timing.

they had a standard STI up there and that ran 280, and apparently 330s usually run 310

Yes it's illegal to put anything on which restricts the amount of light through. There are certain laminates out there like 'fly eye' which are legal. The premium autostyle tints are a grey area. I've had some professional tinting/vinyl people refuse to fit mine because they consider them to be illegal!

So what figures did you end up with?

Lowering the boost, what does that do?

The prodrive map is very aggressive and they raise the boost and back off the timing,
a factor into the reason why alot of the 2.5s 330s go pop.

so to give the engine a fighting chance they lowered the boost pressure down a notch but upped the timing, the turbo now spools up quicker and keeps maximum power till 6750rpm. ( limiter )

it ran 361.2bhp which im over the moon with, and it really pulls well and it very driveable for everyday use. The STI that was there that ran 280 previously claimed to of ran 305 on scoobyclinics rollers months prior.. so would be interesting to have mine Dyno'd elsewhere ! its all down to the rollers i guess, but i have every faith in jase and that his are correct and the way my car now drives ..<3

i could turn the boost up and acheive more power i guess but id rather have the quicker spool and less lag . at the same time im not chasing power figures, its all about drivability for me, as setup correctly a less powered vehicle will embarress higher powered vehicles.

changing the headers and up pipe would be the next step to unleash a little more power safely, and a load of torque. however im very happy with the way it drives now so will focus on cosmetic modifactons for now.

There's not many 330s' on scoobynet and when you think only about 200 were ever registered.
https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicl..._sti_330s#!tax
I thought the 330S didn't have so many issues due the map being refreshed as part of the service upgrade years ago.

Rob should be able to say when that took place.
