I ended up going for a forced performance red from the states (brought second hand off here) I had to buy there inlet and oil fitting kit aswell as the turbo inlet is 84mm but it's only around 1300 dollars for the turbo inlet and fitting kit so around 850 in sterling for the lot , so prob around £1000 once it's into the UK with dutys

I'm at 420 @1.1 bar but maxed my injectors

Hi domino,

Thanks for the info and and kind advice. Never heard of them before. Just been in their website and unless I could find a second hand one, they will end up being more expensive than the sc46. Think I may go for the sc42, apparently it's the best inbetweener with great spool up times. Any recommendations on good value injectors?? I was advised 1000cc off Scoobyclinic for wanting 450bhp but I feels that's too much, would the spray pattern suffice having 1000cc on 400ish bhp, I thought 750's would do?

Have a proper talk with Kev at SC and see what they advise with the build theyve done.
If they do it for you there's no one else to confuse the situation any more

I always preferred the power delivery from My garrett MD321T when I had my hatch.

Hydro dipped carbon, couldn't get the quality expected from genuine carbon parts So had my original part dipped. Done a brilliant job, as wanted to mimic roof wrap.

it ran 460 bhp & 500 ft/lbs. Ran a 9.1:1 compression ratio engine with ported headers. spooled from 2200rpm hit peak torque at 3900rpm and pulled to peak power at 6100rpm.

immense to drive, bit hairy in the wet giving it beans from a stand still

It worked out a lot cheaper than 1600 as it was around 1k for the turbo and a new larger inlet pipe and oil feed kit all in

Iv hit 420 on standard 565s and maxed them out , im swapping to 800cc and been told that's fine for the 500+ I'm after so 750 would be fine imo

Will post up results afterwards.

After doing 120miles today
I must say the car feels so much more planted on the front end and feels like it's in place on every bend, island and camber.

Well worth the expense to have a real STi part

What spark plugs are you guys using and any recommendations please? I will be servicing the car shortly and want to make sure everything is tip top before fitting a full 3" Miltek and mishimoto CAIK and Bob Rawle will be tweaking my map. Current spec is fully forged 330S with billet Owens 20g turbo. Thanks

If you haven't already done it I can highly recommend upgrading the rear ARB, steering rack bushes and anti lift kit also. The handling on mine is transformed!

Fitted my ZunSport grilles today, good quality and took about 25 minutes to fit. Not entirely sure I'm sold on them yet so going to drive around for a few days and make a call.

Ordered a new STi grille badge as I broke mine trying to remove it.

Personally I think the black mesh would look better. The silver is a bit too bling!

I've got the black lower grille, suits my car. But think the blue can pull the chrome grilles off.. bling or no bling it looks quality.

I'd like to swap my main grille mesh for the zunsport in black... if anyone has one FS let me know
