Line the wheel up strait undo everything once u done before you move put a bit of tape on it just to make sure it doesn't move untill you have the new one on ,, to be fair mine moved around a little bit the second time I put it on and it was still fine but if your worried use a tiny bit of tape but iv had no problems fitting a few of them now

Sorry no pics ,, what wheel is it your putting on ? most use the damd ones as there a standard fit and you don't have to mess around with the clock spring as this can cause dccd issues and with most other wheels this needs removing

Really pleased with it, it#s the wheel that should be on the car from new. The leather on it and style is like the new BRZ car.
Feels funny when you turn the wheel al the way and you put your hand on the flat bottom of the wheel instead of a round part of the wheel like on the OE one.

The brake callipers are 2008 onwards but you need 5x100 STI front discs and 2008 onwards rear discs re-drilled to 5x100, you also need to cut the metal disc guards off the rear of your car to fit the STI discs and you will also need the STI bolts for the front callipers and STI Flexi brake lines. Its very easy to do.

 

You get used to the flat but I don't even notice it any more and tend to hold the wheel at the bottom now instead of the top like I used to

Hi guys I'm thinking of removing the rear red fog from the cluster and getting the clear one from just subaru.
How easy is it to do?

It's pretty straightforward. The rear light cluster is only held in by 2 nuts but you have to strip some of the trim to get to them. Open your rear hatch and starting at the top (you must do it in sequence) pull off the first plastic trim. They are held in by little plastic panel pins. Then you can pull the next 2 off (one left one right) and so on until all the trim is removed and you can see the two nuts holding the rear light cluster. When you swap the light cluster remember to refit the foam gasket off the original cluster. (I forgot and had to start all over again!). Refit the trim in reverse order (bottom to top). Simples!

I've got a advisory from a service at my local Subaru that there is wear to the rear lower arm bushes on my car. I'm trying to order some poly bushes to replace them but I've been asked is it inner or outer? To be honest I don't know what I'm looking for. From your experience and knowledge of Subaru can you suggest is one more prone to failure than others or is it worth changing both? Many thanks.

 

I remember reading on here about rear chassis bushes/inserts that are supposed to make a difference to the handling on the Hatch?
Does anybody have a part number? or a link would be even better.

 

Yes the rear subframe chasis bush inserts. I'm getting those fitted in a fortnight along with some other bits and pieces. Just trying to sort out my rear lower arms at the same time. I think if you look at Whiteline's website they have diagrams on there. I don't have a part number sorry as someone is fitting them for me.

 

Hi All

One of my windscreen washer jets needs replacing, they look a little tight at the back but I assume they have some sort of locking clip, if I squeeze will it pop out, looks a little tight to get my fingers in!

The cobra gives a nice burble which I find the hatch lost. But normal driving it's not in your face. Go on there website and they have a white Sti hatch video so you can hear one.

Wheels I've gone for the Sti sedan 19", as direct fit for the hatch Sti.

They really do sort the floating rear subframe out - which can be dangerous as they twist up and step out under load.
