Could do with filling the arches out a bit more too. What width tyre and offset can these hatches run without issue?
I really wanted GT1s at one point but couldn't find any at a reasonable price and the proper width for STI (8.5) so went aftermarket.

I've got for the same size 18 x 8.5 but with the correct size tyres, I hate stretched tyres with a passion. From the info I've been able to get ET44 is probably the lowest you can got without needing arch work. I have seen cars with lower offsets but there no mention of arch work been done.

GT1 wheels cheap on demon tweeks , but although they are nice only the ET53 are available and they look quite in the arches and a bit poor really.

ET35 look great, but some will get the odd rub depending on suspension and tyres.

So I tend to agree ET44 or a 10mm spacer on standard fitment.

But I'm not keen on spacers myself.

BULLITT, definitely want to see some pics when you've had those bits done. Matt bronze grid's look awesome on the hatch and are one of my choices if I do go down the wheel route. Will you get much concave with a 8.5 inch wheel?

I noticed the 330S standard wheels are 9.5 inch wide. Is it just that Subaru use a specific offset/design allowing that fitment and with aftermarkets you end up a bit more limited hence 9.5's only fitting with some arch work etc?

Scrap that, I measured the width of the wheel including the bead seat. So I suspect the 330s wheel is in fact 8.5"?

The 330s wheels aren't 9.5 wide. They are 8.5, I have them on my hatch now.

WRX wheels are 7.5 wide

It's going to Revolution next Monday, I'll get some pics though I won't get to enjoy it for long, as Tuesday its going to AET for the performance parts doing.

9.5s fit fine with no archwork on a hatch. I had 9.5 ET 30 no issues

Bit misleading to say that, what suspension set up did you have, was it lowered/camber etc etc

This is the sort of statements I spent weeks reading through, it's vague unless you're going to give a rundown on how the whole chassis is set up and really doesn't help anyone.

Standard shocks all round, lowered 20-30mm on Tien springs. No camber adjustment etc not stupidly slammed or anything fitted fine with no issues. That was 18 x 9.5 all around. ET30 at the rear, ET38 at the front. Running 245/40 falken tyres.. Hope this helps

Heres some pictures...

the Prodrive Eibach (Black)springs lower 10mm all round.

the PRO-R (Blue) springs are designed to fit the MY11- cars which have the SpecC suspension. I think they give the same drop.

I've seen other Eibach springs on ebay etc for the hatch that give 25/30mm drop. But not sure how good they are on our cars as it seems a big drop compared to the ones sold via dealers.

Cheers for info on wheel setup/suspension etc above. I found the 20mm F&R drop Eibach's listed somewhere, sounds better than the ones stating 25mm front and 5mm rear drop.
