But then again it's got STI written on it and cost loads, so it I reckon it must add atleast 50bhp

Has anyone found a good technical explaination of the different SI Drive settings? As far as I can tell, the I setting limits power etc, and the S and S# both produce the same power, but the relationship between the pedal positon and throttle differs, with the S# being more sensative?
Back to the genuine STi front lip spoiler, anyone managed to get a deal from a dealer for supply and fit?
Cheers!

My opinion, it's a performance car needs to be driven in S# permanantly right foot is your best si drive wonder how much they spent developing it, could have saved some money & spent it elsewhere

intel = 50% power on 100% throttle
sport = 100% power on 100% trottle
sport sharp = 100% power on 50% throttle
made a little sense before driving but alot more after playing with it.

when i did some research before buying the car the best way it was explained to me was
intel = 50% power on 100% throttle
sport = 100% power on 100% trottle
sport sharp = 100% power on 50% throttle
made a little sense before driving but alot more after playing with it.

Feel the downforce
Have to admit, at autobahn speeds (an indicated 150mph actually equated to 127mph according to my tom tom sat nav) the car felt planted but I'm not convinced I could tell what difference the front splitter was making.
Around the Ring, the car still tended to understeer (no matter what In did to the Central Diff) forcing me to adopt a slow in then boot it past the apex approach so I'm putting my front splitter down to cosmetic enhancements only.
But surely someone has some hard stats and evidence to thew contrary? On looks alone it must be worth 5 seconds a lap of Bedford West Circuit? BTW have you guys seen that5 according to Evo a Nissan 370z (or is it 350?) is quicker round the track than an STi?. Shurely shome mistale?

Just had Prodrive quad back box fitted. Took mine in part ex so very happy.
Exhaust trims wouldn't fit without leaving a gap between trim and diffuser at some points, so didn't bother.
Took this pic for the nightshots thread.

Just came back to the forums. Sold the 02 for a house and the wife decided for me to get back in the seat for my BDAY..... 2010 Lightning red STI. Still breaking it in almost at the 1000 mark.
Dont really like the chrome sport grill but it will change soon enough! Looking forward to posting my mods on the forums! Cheers from Brighton Colorado!

Paul, glad you managed to ge the PPP box in the end, where did it come from eventually?
Ballsie, are they vinyls on the fogs or did you paint the glass, was looking at a set on the bay after seeing some on NASIOC but was not sure what people where using?

Arron,
To preserve the warranty, I bought a brand new PPP back box from a Subaru dealer. They fitted it and allowed me £200 for the existing back box. There was a problem fitting the trims which didn't lie flush with the bodywork.
Has anybody else had a problem fitting the trims ?

Good stuff, think you were lucky to get that as Subaru/Prodrive don't like selling the PPP parts seperatly. When I enquired they siad they would only sell me a PPP box if I had PPP fitted.

My WRXS already had a Prodrive exhaust system in situ. It was just a question of swapping back boxes. Having said that, I would have thought that Subaru would have been pleased to make a sale to you of such an item.
They ain't cheap although they are £300 cheaper than the standard STi back box, which is a bit of a mystery.
