Gotta love the deconstructive comments guys.

I'll take the pictures down as there's really no need to put down someone's for sale advert
especially when you don't even know the car or person.

I take great pride in my cars so the price reflects this. If someone sees the car and is willing to pay a fair price then that's all any seller can ask. If it sells then great. If not I'll go back into the garage over winter and the guys can upgrade the engine further for next year and I'll enjoy it again.

I was being serious about the pod placement, as not seen them there on a hatch before. Normally I see them on dash mounts or in the USA on the roof liner where the interior light is.

I created the gauge pod myself as anything that was on the market didnt provide the look I was after. I sourced 2 twin holders from a 1950's car ( can't remember the type now) and screwed and fibreglassed them to the original A pillar. The airbag is intact and the mount is fastened in the same way it came from the factory so the curtain airbag should prrform
as intended.
Cheers

Afternoon guys!

Sold my hatch now and found my clear rear fog light and red overlays in the corner of the conservatory! I've got no use for them so if someone's in the market for them send us a pm.
Light is still in the box it came from Rob in (brand new)
Overlays still in the packet from Salsa King (brand new)

P15ULT that's certainly an eye opener. Not for me but it would be a boring old world if we all wanted a plain blue Subaru with gold wheels. Fair play to you for the effort that has gone into your car.

P15ULT obviously has been a lot of effort I wouldn't worry about what the haters are saying just because you've done something a bit different.

Hi Guys

Whats the current opinion on the best replacement panel filters, service is due on my 2011 so may as well save the £25 for a standard and replace with a decent one.

Options are:

Cosworth - had on my mapped 08 and had good results.
Pro-r - not too keen as think they are made by Pipercross (may be wrong) and never been a fan.
K&N - Always used on Fords of old but does the oil give the maf any issues, did always love the K&N rasp though!

Also am I correct that their IS a filter change at 3 years/30k!

Cheers

No map required as long as its a panel filter replacement as the maf should sort out, if a CAI then yes you'd need a remap, I also have a cat back H&S with no issues, all signed of by a respected Subaru person on here.

Can the second cat at the rear of the downpipe be removed without the need for a remap?

Just get a good quality filter like those from Mann and you won't go too far wrong.

Ref the pollen filters, ebay are selling genuine for about £7 but just the filter, not the plastic housing like the ECP ones on Salsa's link, can I asume the filter pops out of the housing?

Cheers

Not AKAIK although should be pretty easy to do.

The genuine OEM one comes in the housing only, so how genuine is genuine ??

Haha, genuine in as much as the ebay seller has written the word 'genuine', probably means the same size as OE! However saying that most are probably made in the same factory anyway.

Don't get my car back for a week so cannot check myself if it pops out, having 3yr service, MOT and some warranty bits done, no local dealers anymore so had to leave it there, but saying that they have let me take this beast home!

The filter is glued into the plastic housing so I can't see how it can be supplied without it?
