08/09 Hatches, Stand up and show yourselves!!!
The standard top mount is gash! and it bolts (directly) on to the turbo so it won't fit any other turbo upgrade like the one i have bought.
If you're planning over 400bhp then splash out the overpriced perrin or ridiculously priced Cosworth. If your planning 400 or below then the Japspeed one should be fine! which i have.
(Somebody correct me if im wrong)

* Japspeed good for over 400 also, I sure Rob's has held up ok and that's after 2 years.
* If wanting to stay TMIC an option is Grimmspeed from USA - I had mine flown in and more than happy with the performance and certainly the look of it (in black) currently delivering 475 power and Andy Forrest mapping/testing.

If you want to use an STI intercooler on the WRX you have to change the inlet manifold and fuel line layout.

The hole reason I bought the wrx was because no one else had one and I wanted to be diffrent and I do love the wrx but just thinking the 330s is pretty much perfect with everything I want only problem is the price tag but by the time I've modded this I could get a an Sti then abit more and then 330s
Come on Daz, do the maths.. speak to your wife explain the cost effectiveness of swapping sooner rather than later.. explain about having a limited edition car.. no more than 200 ever registered
So the parts you have can go on a 330s

Is that a grimspeed for the STI? because the WRX hatch is different setup to the STI, it has a different inlet manifold and entry point and the intercooler outlet just bolts directly to the turbo.

I have had BC coilovers with softer springs and found them to be better on newage cars than the standard struts and springs but I admittedly don't know too much about GR models.

I seen some on a hatchback last week that looked smart he bought them from Revolution 24/7 just make sure you torque them up correct. I now drive around with a torque wrench in the boot.

I have the TEIN on my WRX the height is spot on closing the wheel arch gap nice but i can still get over speedbumps. The wife likes the ride as its still quite soft i personally would prefer it if they were a bit stiffer.

I had cusco coil overs on the type r and hated it they were to harsh so if I ever go down the coil over route I'll be going in a few cars first. I've heard good things about bc on hatches but need to go in a car to see what there like.

1. Hawkeye WRX Type UK
2. Bugeye STi Spec C RA S202
3. Blobeye STi Spec C Motorsport
4. Bugeye STi Spec C RA S202
5. Classic 22B
6. Hatchback STi Type UK
I am renowned for my ability to get a car just how I want to get it and then sell them on, perhaps the Hatchback STi might just be a keeper...

I wanted a car which could offer performance, practicality and some comfort so it was either a Hatchback STi or a Forester STi.
Don't be fooled into thinking that just because a model is a Spec C or other enhanced performance model that they are better, they are aimed at a slightly differing market with different needs.
You could organise my car list in any order depending upon what you wanted from a car, having done a little driving so far in the Hatchback I have to say that at the moment it would have to be near the top of the list.

I wouldn't describe robs as sex though, beast is more fitting with whats under the bonnet, try to stay off this thread as cant afford all the bits that see on here and then want !!

Just to clarify something that has been ongoing re: The "Blue" springs..........
