No we don't have this in the UK don't even think it is on the accessories list. Always had problems with Vospers, Ashburton have always been very good and that's where I bought my 330s from back in June and that's where she'll be serviced.

Dear all,

Since my mod budget is exhausted for the moment, my attention is moving to looks - my 09sti is quite a conventional example Thing is, I'm really struggling to source some decals / stickers - especially the 'STI Performance' one that some of you guys have on the lower face of the front splitter. Any ideas?

So far I've only found a few options for stickers other than ebay (not sure about quality for ebay - it could be anything I guess?). Have you guys any contact / links to share, where do people normally get theirs?

Scoobyparts Ltd Badges & Emblems

Subaru Accessories

Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Store

Subaru Impreza Stickers at Graham Goode Racing

btw have you seen the recaros Revolution have fitted to their project sti car? SportsterCS [drool]

Rob
Have you ever thought of fitting the front lower spoiler ?
It must be about the only mod that you haven't got.
Bit pricey though !

Paul, was just thinking I like your front spoiler and splitter combo, doubt the spoiler will fit the STI though. Unfortunately.

Hi Rob, I got the kit from Steve in the post yesterday - will fit it tomorrow. Where did you get the 12V permanent live feed from - did you take it direct from the battery or somewhere else

I can't make it out on the pics of your car, although you haven't posted a recent pic.

Arron
The front spoiler on the WRXS is an STi part with the STi logo on it.
Why wouldn't it fit an STi ?

Please both forgive me if I'm being thick.

They do according to the pics I've seen. Been toying with that idea myself.

Just assumed as the WRX and STI front bumpers are different the spoiler may be too narrow for the STI, looks like it goes up the bumper a fair bit too so may interior with the side vents, also the bottom front apperture on the WRX bumper is a different shape to the STI (looks like a smily face opposed to square) and the spoiler looks like it is shaped around it so is designed for the WRX, perhaps they make one for the STI that is slightly different.

Ofcourse I could be completley wrong and it would fit perfectly.

Cheers
A

If the front spoiler on the WRXS isn't made to fit an STi, then how come it appear on the WRXS with the discreet STi logo still intact, as do other parts ? According to all the reviews on the WRXS, Subaru were reported to have 'raided the STi parts bin' for the bodywork enhancements over the standard WRX hatch. I'm no Subaru Impreza expert but it does seem unlikely that it won't fit an STi.

STI make loads of parts that do not come standard on an Impreza STI, look at sites such as Japanparts who have a wealth of STI parts that you can add on to various models of Subaru. I always look at it as Prodrive are the UK version of STI if thats makes sense.

You also have 2 seperate items attached to your bumper, a front lip spoiler and a V-Limited spoiler.

I think the WRXs is a really nice looking car, it works better visually than the STI imo. The wheels are spot on too, I had a look at a sonic blue one in my dealers and it was very smart and certainly didn't look overshadowed by the STI sitting next to it.

I extended the red wire another 6 inches and soldered it onto the main thick red wire that is going into the rear of the fuse box, put your head under the dash and look up its located just up in line with the brake pedal covered in white tape. I took the earth off one of the screws that holds the dash onto the metal frame just were the panel clips back on

Sorry paul i miss understood what you wrote i thought you meant splitter, don't think the spoiler would fit on my car as well as the splitter as i already struggle for ground clearance coming off my drive, as much as i like the look of it i think i would break it off

Just finished the mirror matic mod myself. I did the same thing as you Rob - lots of cut knuckles but I'm made up with the result - why didn't the car come with this in the first place

Default Bad news guys. Ipod doesn't work

Just tried fitting the ipod kit today. Great news is the ipod controller knows the ipod is there

Crap news is the head unit doesn't, I can't get it to pick up the controller / changer.

Guess I'm going to have to try and find the pin outs and see if a switch pins is possible to get it to work.

really wanted to keep the factory look, and really don't fancy spending stupid money on a new headunit.

Time for a complaint to IM me thiks, not that will get very far.

So, any headunit on the UK hatches can't have ipod. (I have the non nav).

Interestingy though, my aux socket on the back has 8 connectors, 4 of which are used, so whats the other 4 for????
