I might have a little chat with my dealer then. Would love a little noise from the exhaust, it's so tame even with the PPP box.
I'll be adding Mahle pistons and rods, along with full ARB stud sets and a Cosworth headgasket. I think that's all they need to 400-450hp safety.
Also a bigger turbo at the saem time or a little later if I cant afford it all together.
In no real rush atm, still waiting for my new wheels to show up, and then the brakes before all that.

I've got a brand new set of rear roll bar drop links for the 08+ hatch and saloon from whiteline. Its the klc166 kit. New and sealed in the original packaging. Its in the for sale section a few pages back but I'm looking for £90 posted. That's about a tenner less than anywhere in the uk
Is that a bonnet wrap or painted? Looks well, i have a nasty chip and not decided on what to do yet.

is that car still for sale!
yeah, I have just fixed my AC recently - BTW. if your AC fan is out, you will have a lot of cooling issues, that at first sight look like head gasket failure Lucklily for me it was just a bad connection...
And yes - it is hot. Currently 40-45oC. And it is getting worse every day...
BTW. one of my first mods was:

Evening folks. Now we have Impreza N.O 2 in the household (2008 Hatch STI) the missus wants to change a few things. Currently the rear light covers are clear except the drivers side with the red centre triangle. I'm thinking of going for red outlined ones with clear centres, where might sell these? Also she fancies a set of 330s alloys, not a fan myself much prefer the Prodrive recent ones on the 2012 saloon. Anyway any ideas where to find some other than fleabay or the local steelers? Lastly she wants a bit more noise as is totally OEM currently. I'm thinking a cat back will keep her happy, any recommendations? First instinct is to go for a H&S one but opinions welcome. Will get some pics up shortly.

Re the rear red overlays, I got mine from bluebatmobile (google him). They come pre cut but can be a pain to fit. Also I believe Litchfields do them too, but to get the best look you'll need to buy the clear lens for the off side fog.

That would be an Aluminium KOYORAD
You can get a Mishimoto equivalent here in the UK............

Rob84, how do the pins stay placed?
To me it looks like a bigger risk having those fitted as due to different thermal expansion they will sooner or later become loose, the same with converting a semi closed deck block to CDB, you can't make sure the materials the companies use are exactly the same as what teh block is made from.
Arabski, great pics on the track.
Ditch that Koyo cap though and fit back the OEM one as they are renown to not hold pressure.
I've seen a Koyorad weep around one of the welds too so inspect it closely the first time you fit it.

Anybody else find it difficult to read there dipstick when checking the oil.
When i take it out then wipe and put it back in, i wait a few seconds the check but on the side with the marks there is no oil, but on the other side its upto the full mark.
Which side is correct?
Baz

The "weep" I had seen was just a coolant bubble sat at the neck of the radiator, not leaking as such.
I didn't realise the hatchbacks came with a sunroof in the middle east!
+1 on more pictures of your wife

...they do come like that, there is no "MEDM" spec available (mine is EUDM with fog lamp on the port side). But the sunroof is not the most useless part of it - I have heated windscreen wipers too )))
