i would deal with the company in ABX forst link, was looking to get a lip from them and they only charge $50 shipping. One other company wanted $200 to ship it. Double checked with BasonR and the assured me that was all it would be.
Only holding fire as a kind member on here is willing to part with a genuine STI lip which is what i really want. just awaiting some more details from him then in my eyes its a done deal.

on a side note other than the main dealer where can i get a genuine cosworth front grill?
Just i am not to sure about spraying the plastic as of the stone chips.
Other option is that 3m wrap stuff but where is the best place to get it from?
Cheers

Thank you, I've ordered the first one. Works out at £74 delivered, although I'll probably end up with additional charges from Royal Mail.

Just a matter of fitting the ZunSport grilles and painting the "wings" black.
http://www.zunsport.co.uk/products.asp?p=40
Once you have the grille off "I believe" the wings can be unscrewed.

Hi guys!
I'm looking for pictures of hatchbacks lowered 25 mm with the standard rims offset (55mm). Tricky one, but could someone provide me pictures?
I'm about to order a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs and don't know how it with will look when having the standard BBS rims (ET55)...

Don what paints would you suggest as I did think that but was a little concerned that with a few stone chips it would begin to lift and flake off! Hence the genuine grill it wrap. Obviously paint would be cheaper but have you any experience and could recommend which base adhesive, primer, top and laqure to use.
Thanks
Thanks
If you are concerned would suggest a local paint/body shop would be able to do it, especially if you can take it apart before hand.
You could always give Chargespeed some dosh

Aem caik fitted, pretty straight forward.
Just took it out for a quick test and was amazed with how much induction noise there was and could really hear the dv working.
Off to cobra in the morning to get a sports cat downpipe fitted

Will email chargespeed to get a price but I think the paint / wrap route is on the cards.
Where do you get the wrap from, I assume ebay but I would rather good quality stuff or one recommended by someone from here who has used the seller etc,
on a side note, any one running any gauges?
just been looking for a pod and I cant find anything for the hatch,
what have you used?
Cheers

You should also aim at having the film in matte texture, a friend of mine did go for gloss and it just look cheap and "after market".

Well after 4 years i have decided to let the Hatch go. New owner picked her up last night and it was sad to see her go. It's been a great car, so for anyone thinking about trying the STI Hatch, i would say give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Thanks to you all for sharing your mods and knowledge and look forward to still bumping into some of you at the shows and events.
Mick

i wrapped my grille in the 3M di-noc, this stuff was the original wrap carbon vinyl but is quite thick and a matte finish
3M then bought out the 3M™ Scotchprint® Wrap Film Series 1080 which is what I wrapped my dash and interior in, its thinner and more pliable, still has the air channels in glue s ono bubbles and would esaily wrap the grille better then the di-noc
its not cheap stuff but easily the best
APA and other brands of vinyl are ok to wrap but i found their carbon design to be too small or large, not 'genuine' carbon look if you know what i mean.
my recommendation would be the 1080 3M
