Quote: Impreza GR P54039 brembos are all the same from 08 sti onwards
Thanks Rob

I have put that part number in to nextday brakes and the price comes up as £42.72. Can that be right or is that just for one side?

Can't be one side. I've never seen pads come in two's! It does say, covers a complete front axle, shows 4 pads in the picture and says two wear indicators (which assumes 4, as doesn't each side just have one pad with them)

Does seem bloody cheap? I checked out some for mine (02 Sti) and they were £30!

Edited to add... Just had a look about and they are cheap everywhere so price must be right. I'd assumed brembo pads were silly money. Remember trying to get some for my Evo years back and they cost an arm and a leg!

Quote: Never seen that happen before, for starters the undertray should sheild from any road debris entering the underside of the vehicle and secondly the filter is up level with the exhaust manifold so shouldnt be the brunt of any impact. sounds like some ones trying to sabotage your car
the first time was 2 days after a service
the 2nd was after i took the car to a tyre place to get my winter tyres changed to summer
i do have the plate intact on the bottom
and after both occasions i never saw the filter

i think the first the filter was not put back on right the 2nd who knows
the garage who have re placed the oil and filter said it was ether a hole caused by a small stone or could be a badly manufactured filter but was ok until the tyre change (Co-incidence? was put on last october

will keep an eye out in future

The Green 17" STi alloys came off today.. the 19" Prodrive's went back on. While I had the front wheels off I re fitted the new wheel arch liners... all I can say.. what a blinkin pillarvour, Near Side took about an hour and a half to sort. Removing wheel no problem, but finding where all the fixing were that hold the arch liner in place and removing it.. took longer than I 1st thought. Ended up removing the side skirt part way. Trying to get the fitting clips out that had got dirty and rounded off a bit was a pain too Did it in the end.
The OffSide.. Wheel off, arch off and new arch back on.. 19" back on... 20mins Once you know how they come off/on it was a doddle.

Once I got back home from checking the tyre pressures (1.9 Bar rear?, 2.2 Bar front?), a quick wash and dry off was in order. Car ready for Santa Pod at the end of the month.

And that is why I don't touch them! I suspect a fault with the filters in this case rather than damage. Mazda RX8 filter for me.

been looking at these guys.... local for me, spoke to Paul there this morning...
http://www.pwpro.co.uk/cars/?portfolio=bmw-e93-335i

look at their vid clips too... very impressive.

Just not sure if I'd be doing the right thing.

I know there was going to be a CARBON Hatch on the market, that had a carbon roof.. plus interior stuff.

But I like the white car, would a satin black roof/carbon be too much?

Nothing on my car is gloss black though, satin black matches the trim around the car.
