[QUOTE=rb5 286;8906408]does the itouch have bluetooth?
has anyone changed their sidelight bulbs over?
i have the LED ones to replace but looking in the engine bay i looks like the headlight has to come out and for that to happen the centre grille has to come out which means the bumper off!!!!
Simple as, did mine the night I got the car home, undo the 3 plastic screws in the inner arch and it gives you loads of access to the rear of the light housing, whilst there get rid of those ugly indicator bulbs!!!

Thought you guys would like to see this
YouTube - T20dyno
Its one of our JDM STI's having the new Ecutek software tested on it. The run is to check that full throttle gear changing and engine blipping on downchanges works.
Look forward to seeing a few of you next week
Regards
Iain

Hi Rob,
The new software updates will include:
• Per gear boost control maps for much better response and control in each gears.
• Switchable maps including a new Race mode in Si-Drive equipped cars
• Configurable Launch control
• Full throttle gear changing
• Engine blipping on down changes
• Seamless switching between MAF and MAP load inputs, ideal for very higher power cars that runs out of MAF sensor resolution. Avoids the need to switch to a standalone ECU.
They all sound great but in reality some are more suited for track use but I've not had much chance to play with the settings yet. I'm sure these files will be standard fit from now on
Anti Lag is possible as well but I'm not sure if they'll include it at launch. I wouldn't recommend it on a road car.
RB5 the GR lipspoiler extension listed in the PDF I have from STI is ST960204S290.
For reference the MY03-MY06+ Impreza STI should be ST960204S130. Hope this helps

CP84,
Nice!
You want to get yourself over to the meet and show off that shiny new hatch!! Looks like it wouldn't even be that far for you
Plus your gonna buy bits anyway, so you might as well take the 15% discount
I really cant wait for the 5th now
Ben

I'll be there on the 5th too with an 08 JDM STI.
I'm at Powerstation 1st then over to Litchfields. Are there any plans for anything later in the day?- pub, lunch etc.
By the way this is my 6th Impreza and whilst not as good on the track as a Hawkeye Spec C it's by far the best everyday car. Thirsty but even the wife loves it and she refused to drive the Evo9 we had before.
See you all on the 5th

Quite a gathering - am going to see if Iain can squeeze in an oil change as well on the day.
Am loving the sound of the new Ecutek map - one for the wish list I think!

I think it is being released in the next few weeks so I’m not sure if any tuners will have it at the moment. Once released Ecutek will send it to all their dealers and it will be down to them what they charge to change to the new mapping options.
I don’t think the updates will cost anything from Ecutek as it is part of the support they give to their dealers. Because of all the extra features it can take quite a bit of time to set up especially if doing it from scratch.
We have a UK and JDM STI to develop maps for so it’ll be standard fit on our kits

have u got pics of jdm mirrors compared to uk mirrors?
i'm interested in a set.
also, i'm having problems with the lower rubber front lip.
i gave Tom @ rogerclark MS the part number for it, taken from the STI japan parts list for the hatch, he sent me the part but it matches the rubber lip i have from my hawkeye sti lip, including fixings.
i've looked at the hatch sti lip on mine and the fixing holes are tiny and look like a small screw type fixing is used.
have u fitted any and shed some light to this problem?

Anyone interested in getting stone chips touched up, or the odd ding repaired ?
(apart from me ?)
If there are a few, it might be worth asking Iain if we could get a dent/chip person along ??

RB5, sorry I don't have a direct comparison photo of the 2 mirrors but I'll try and get something next week. Send me an email and I'll reply as soon as our UK car is here.
We have most of the colours here and we can touching in the odd chip if required, we have a excellent dent guy if needed

Here you go mate...
You have the UK van/subaru forester type ones so you know what they look like, here are the JDM ones...they are a lot smaller and still have the indicator...I think I have got post deja vu
http://www.autosnewspaper.com/wp-con...nd-video-1.jpg
I will have a set on mine at the meet if you want a look, I think this will be a very popular mod for UK cars, go for it mate, you know it makes sense

More Bedford track vids
This vid demonstrates the sheer grunt of the Nissan GTR.
There I am, putting in a respectable lap, 3mins 4 seconds for the 3.8 mile GT circuit, with only a Merc to slow me down, when I glance in the rear view mirror and see a GTR climbing all over my hatch.
Very quick indeed.
Subaru Impreza STi and Nissan GTR at Bedford GT circuit
Cheers
