Where do Subaru fit their OEM DRLs? I thought all new cars from Feb 2011 had to have them, or do Subaru just use the side lights (on LED) on the Impreza?
Have any of you guys changed the rear diff oil on your hatches yet? Mines 3 years old, covered 21k, I think it may be time to change it? Which oil would you recommend?
Changed all my transmission oils at 20K and used Motul, which I reckon is best.

Who cut that bumper for the towbar its shocking
Thanks guys, bloody cowboys eh!
The tow bar cut is shocking, all thanks to a previous keeper! Shame it comes complete with the bumper. I'm tempted to put the tow bar back in the hope it looks a bit nicer??
[QUOTE=Imy877;10318617]Can anyone tell me what sort of exhaust I have on my car, there is no back box and it's bloody loud!

LOL, was askng the missus the very same question whilst following you out of the interchange & up the hill on saturday morning! (I wasn't in my scooby btw - stealth mode!).
Oh, sounds good tho....
a straight through zorst must be a factor in engine failure, has the car had any engine issues with it?
Almost every aftermarket 'performance' exhaust is deemed as being 'straight through' i.e. where the pipe passes through the silencers/mufflers the tube is simply perforated. The absence of a silencer and hence no perforated tube will, to all intents and purposes, have no effect.
Non 'straight through' on the other hand is a completely different kettle of fish. Most commonly, the silencers on that type of system utilise mechanical baffles whereby the silencer is internally subdivided into several chambers with the pipe entering the first chamber and ending there. The gasses then exit that chamber via a different pipe which then leads to another chamber (usually 2 removed from the previous) and then exits that chamber via another pipe which leads back to the previously bypassed chamber directly adjacent to it and so on until eventually it reaches the tailpipe. Very effective for silencing but also very restrictive - also why most standard silencers weigh a ton!
In the case above with the cut and shut pipework with no silencers, and assuming - as Rob so rightly pointed out - the OEM cat in the downpipe is still there, the effect would be the same as fitting almost any aftermarket back box i.e. negligable.
Finally got round to getting out in the cold and installing my gauges, Prosport premiums with white needle. Thanks to Kris for selling the monkey bone holder at a nice price and David @ RSpec for importing the gauges for me...
For those with oil pressure gauges, what are your readings at hot idle? Mine sits at about 20psi or just below (i believe the manual says 14psi min).
