Yeah.

My dealer just told me that as I am due for the 2 year service, I asked about the corrosion / paint warranty and he said I needed the annual extra cost body inspection.
They didn't do it at the 1 year service....!!

£96 they charge, which seems the hourly rate as they want that to fit plugs and also £96 to fit braided hoses when they change the brake fluid in the service.

Jamz (James Simpson) has this illustrated on his website:

http://www.jamessimpson.co.uk/quest-...reza-injectors

I think they'll need re-scaling though.

So what's the score, you been told you definitely need more flow, more to the point are the JDM hatch injectors the same size as the UK hatch injectors...?

I need to sell a brand new set of tyres Dunlop sport 600 245/40R/18 93W which are off a 320r, I think they are the same as the 330s. Can someone advise me of the best place to sell tyres?

Thanks

Yeah, they seem the same size as on the 330S, same make / type certainly.

Noisy tyres they are!

Removing the atomising caps on the base of the injectors is a very crude and basically cheapskate way of getting more flow, do it right first time and just buy the proper injectors, far easier to setup and wont have any issues intime with idling or starting issues as basically all they do is just tip fuel in rather than atomise for a cleaner burn

Rob,
If it doesn't compromise you at work, could you post here or on a web page all the 2008- hatch service bulletins?

We only seem to hear about them when some one asks on here / hatch forum...

Cheers

Sorry mate I cant, simply far to many to sit and sort them all. I can only assist others if they are having issues in certain areas as it gives your dealers an incite on what to look for so it costs the bare minimum to yourselves or subaru either warranty or not you see

Until next time? Surely it will happen again? What happens when it's outside warranty?

Shouldn't happen again, It was down to incorrect application in the factory of the sealant

OK, fair game Rob, us users don't always get to know there ARE service bulletins for problems, like my stering rack problem ( after refitting ) or seat subframe issues...and above... and we don't like to bother you too often!

Cheers mate

Thanks that's more reassuring, presumably they would have sorted this on 2011 models then?

I also use bonnymans, unfortunately I cant get it as cheap as you cus of my post code. But I think I can save you and everyone else a few pennies on methanol. If you enter the code bonny10 at the checkout you get 10% off your order

Thanks for the heads up guys. Mines effected too so will be getting booked in tomorrow and they can deal with the rusty boot lid at the same time. Going to se if I can get new wheels out of them too as 3 of mine are now corroded too.

I am seriously thinking of chucking the car in and getting a forester now.

Does make me think what else is wrong, or could go wrong with the car.

DT Racing in Deeside ... but buy it from DT Chemicals (same firm, same big storage tank! and it's 1/2 the price ).
£82 for 45 gallons / 205 litres, plus VAT and for me £20 delivery.

Ask for Ian Dawson and mention the dark grey hatch!
http://www.dtchemicals.co.uk/index.p...uct_detail&p=2
and even cheaper if you need 1000l in an IBC !

Aren't there some regs about how much petrol/methanol you can store in a domestic garage - re; fire insurance, safety ?
I think I was over the limit getting it in 25 litre containers !!
