Aye fair enough and kudos for still replying on the thread. But I mean it when I say I hope there is a resolution.

Im sure we cant sort this amicably - were all adults here, I'm really hacked off its alledegly damaged - as theres so much paperwork involved with claims - I'd really like if the admins/mods would kindly delete this thread with Rob's permission of course as I'm not overally happy with my name being shamed on this forum -

latest is still faulty obviously - ie boots up showing dos & windows splash screen (first 20-30 secs on boot up) but picture goes completely blank/black before you get to see windows desktop (green power light stays on) but cannot see anything on screen. so i switch it off and back on again with the power button and it shows windows desktop for 1 second then goes blank/black again. tried it on 2 different pcs and its the same fault on both, also pressed 'auto button' and that doesnt fix the problem (tried that on delivery day).

i did send you text messages about the problem on the day i received it with no replies, and also tried to pm you on here but your inbox is full.

delivery box was not damaged in any way.

i just want a full refund asap please as this was bought for my mum so i'm starting to feel the rage now. ie paypal or postal order refund is fine.

You can arrange/pay a courier to collect asap if you like as its just a worthless paperwieight and no use to me.

so just send me my £30 refund and lmk what you want doing with the faulty lcd.

your name has been shamed on here so other people who might buy something off you have the info on what kind of person there dealing with due to your terrible way of doing business - ie very bad/slow/no communication, slow delivery times & sending faulty goods etc.

ollyit.
Why on earth would Robl lie about it being knackered after all the **** farting about he has gone through over the last couple of weeks.

Don't bother trying to clear your name ect. or prove it's broken just give him his refund and save the last bit of respect you have left.

Definitely worth trying running safe mode, could be that the refresh rate from the PCs are higher than the monitor can support, or it could be the resolution but probably less likely.

resolution is 1024x768 32bit, also tried 800x600 16 bit and still the same fault.

tried pcs in safe mode and same problem - no viewable picture after 30 secs or so, then picture only viewable for 1 sec when switch it off/on again.

just uploading the video here - http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l103/trebor74/

Definately faulty, no doubt in that. Looks like the LCD panel is losing power or the power to it is intermittent.

Rob, thanks for uploading this - It's clearly taken a knock of somesort as I just wouldnt send something out not working, I'm adament its probably been lobbed perhaps in a van but just to make sure not only have I started a claim, I'm sending you my other transformer of my other idenitical TFT just to eliminate - failing this I'll refund your money of course and get back the compensation from those DHL monkeys - anyone else who wants to pipe up insinunating I'm a scammer and would rip off another scoobynetter for a measly £20 (£10 was delivery) which I think you'll agree is a dribble of vpower in the petrol tank, needs to question themselves not me -

I'm well aware this is a public forum and every b*gger can see it, I'm sick of explaining myself to you (who again has nothing to do with any of this) and wasting my time, this is an issue I'm trying to resolve between rob and I , so please do the decency of leaving this well alone and jump off the wagon you got on earlier!

Thats enough guys: The only people entitled to speculate are "robl" and "Olyit".

This issue is between them. And ruffling the feathers of anyone be it in the wrong or not will only make the problem worse. And more likely ruin any hope of an amicable solution between the two parties (and I'm sure robl will not appreciate that).

So I ask very kindly that people not involved in this transaction to stop this speculating nonsense. As from my standpoint there is still the possibility that the problem will be resolved amicably.

Until then, leave out the assumptions, sly threats and bickering.

regarding: cossie-nutter's input - in the beginning before i received the lcd, i had a few offers of help in trying to track down any info about you as i thought you had stolen my money and he kindly offered to have a friendly word in your ear if he ever met you to sort out the problem, thats all.

just to balance things up a bit if its any consolation i bought an LCD monitor off Olly and it is first class a pleasure to deal with and a thoroughly decent chap (you still owe me £4 ) sounds like its taken a knock in transit as said as when i bought mine off him it was fully demonstrated in front of me so i knew everything was in order

Rob.
Yes it is a shame you never drove the 270 odd miles to have a demo of the monitor.
Unfortunately you took a man at his word and ended up shafted.
I can't stick my nose in too much as I will get infracted again.....
Thanks for the totally balanced view tc.
