Frayz your attention to detail is outstanding keep up the good work! These projects spiral out of control both time/cost wise 400ish is relatevely easy in terms of time/cost when you start to build a subaru and want to acheive a reliable 500+ car you enter a whole new scenario as those on here that have achieved said objective will fully understand my car has been off the road for over a year now and i have spent some serious money and its still not finished but untill its right i will not even attempt to rush or overlook any part of the complexed build! Good luck with your stunning build and i'm sure the time and effort will be well worth it in the end!!! knibby

Jobs to do,
Fit heat shielding,
Fit clutch/f-wheel and drop motor in
Test fit turbo system- send pipework for ceramic coating
Get PAS lines made
Make up breather, swirlpot, pump and filter brackets inc plumbing and wiring.
Wire air temp sensor for Syvecs
Fit ancillaries and plumb in motor.
Call Mr Roe to come and make it work
Hopefully I wanna turn the key at the end of April

It always amazes me how long the todo list is when you're nearly finished. How did you manage to get the crinkle finish on the manifold? The last I read you were talking to a chap who was doing them for Ferrari's but asking a fortune to do the work!

Im away in Austria snowboarding next week so will put the motor in on my first free day when i return. In the meantime i got a nice little delivery from the guys at Forge Motorsport. Had them make me a custom fuel swirl pot and bracket.
Build quality is very nice, and will be powdercoated satin black to match once complete
