Only got a few odds and sods done this weekend as I had other cars to deal with so no real update.
Damn Disco I bought for towing these cars is giving me all sorts of bother, reckon I am going to get rid and find another tow vehicle. May get a big estate or something, don't know yet.
I did get time to look at my new turbo though on the blue car

Little more progress, can be slow going at times as I had to do some other work on a pals car today. Needed new wing and brakes on his car.

Paul got the hub off as the bearing is gone. Tried to whip one off the other car I am breaking but the driveshaft would not come out of that so we are going to pop a new bearing in.

Then we got the exhaust on, Paul made a nice little bracket to fix downpipe to the gearbox. Nice APS item with 3.5" bore

And here's a pic of the new addition as my tow car, the Disco I bought was rubbish so sold that and got a turbo car

Okay little more done at weekend and today -
Bolted the bells to my Discs whilst I got my son to wash the GT4

Filled the minor cracks in the bumper

Painted and fitted the gear stick surround thing

Cheap but light mirrors on

Modified cooler pipework to fit, grinder needed

And then fits

Catch can installed, one of the group buy batch I just sorted. Will be doing another soon if anyone is interested, the quality of the can is spot on and has the 3 inlets required for a scoob

Got the new hub on with a new bearing -

Started trial fitting brakes to see what shims I will need

Don't ask what he's up to here

Not much else done as we took the blue car to the Pod yesterday to do some testing, needless to say track conditions were awful due to frozen ice on there before they got it dry. Still some good testing done with some very quick terminals (134 & 135) but 11.2 isn't anything to write home about but with full on wheel spin in 1st and not much better in 2nd then it's understandable.

After changing wheels I found a suspected slack wheel bearing on the blue car, same side as the one we just did on the white one !
Oh well at least this hub came off a damn site easier than on the white car.

I was not expecting the shaft to pop out though when pulling the hub off, I presume it's because the stubs have been changed to fit the 6 speed ?

Then out with the whiteline ball joint as I have ordered another hub already
