lol and I thought I'd be the only one to notice!
Robocop was my favourite film as a kid, I always used to skip the beginning and start the film once he 'boots up' for the first time

I think it might be in reference to Edward from Twilight, who is, I believe a vampire, thus Buffy, being a vampire slayer, would attempt to slay Edward. There seems to be a bunch of geeks arguing on various forums (what a shocker!) as to who would win in a battle between Buffy and Edward. I would presume that Edward is meant to be a bit "hard" (Buffy's "hardness" is well known - well if you're into Buffy, as it were, - snigger ) and thus the geeks are "debating" that it would be a tough battle, all the time not "getting" that neither of the "people" are actually real life beings.

As to how I know all this, well, I have watched Buffy in the past, thus am aware that as a slayer, she is known to give demons and suchlike a bit of an **** kicking from time to time. I also happened to be viewing a thread with some mock motivational posters on a quebec based civic forum (linked from a similar thread on the toronto subaru club forum) and one of them happened to be a google search for "Edward Cullen is amazing" with google coming up with "did you mean: Edward Cullen does not exist" and the tag of the poster was something about "Destroying the dreams of thousands of vampfags" Thus I put two and two together. Sad? Moi? Quite possibly

After watching AvP: Requiem the other night and the end scene with one Ms Yutani it caught my interest. Quite a big piece on Wikipedia for all us geeks:

Weyland-Yutani - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Made me chuckle reading how the name came about - Leyland lol

Thanks for that, put a smile on my face

For any aliens fans, try the directors cut with the cast and crew commentary 'on' - it is well worth it, very informative and had me in stiches at times
