Spent 2 hours on it now, to be honest, i dont think i like it, i used to love street fighter 2 when i was a kid, but nowadays, i am just not feeling it.
the single player mode is dire, the challenge mode started getting VERY frustrating when it was asking for "down+hard punch then a dragon punch" and i was doing that for around 15 mins before it decided to allow me to complete it?
no idea what i did different the last time, so i am none the wiser
the x360 analogue sticks suck ***** on this game, and the 360 d-pad is not the best either, the game does actually feel like you are playing an arcade machine, which is great, but how long do you play an arcade machine for? i have spent 2 hours on this one and i am already sick of the announcers voice
might be FAR better on a proper joystick setup mind?
think i am going to trade it in tomorrow!

So your obviously crap at SF games then?
The original joypad is gash..... I played it for the first time yesterday. Loved the game but nearly tossed the joypad out of the window. If anybody wants to get the best out of this game you really need a stick, which I will now get.
I can play SF games well, but with the joypad it sucks.

Dont get rid mate, for me this and fallout 3 are the best 2 360 games. Lots of fun to be had in single player but I'm certain you will smash your pad on the final boss, hes difficult tenough on medium or above with a stick. Live ace had some real tense fights.
Oh and its called challenge mode for a reason

i played SF2 to complete death when i was a kid, arcades, on my amiga, on my mates snes, i could beat everybody, i can even remember doing some kind of disc swap trick on the amiga so you could play as bison and sagat!?! but the new one, i can not get away with, just been back on again to give it another go and try the challenges again
Ken challenge level 4 - high kick then fireball (iirc)
i don't know what i am doing wrong, but i just can not do this combo, it should be easy, but i cant do it its probably all just timing?
i really want to like this game, but IMO it offers nothing over the hd remix version, bar some new graphics and a few new moves.
i don't fancy buying the sf4 stick just for this game, its a shame x-arcade dont make an adapter for the 360 otherwise i could have hooked that stick up instead and would have been on easy street

It is all timing but the pad def makes it more difficult. I have no problems with my stick. You can get a sf4 fight pad thats meant to be a lot better. You still have to be ultra quick with the inputs, are you inputting as quick as you can?

i use the analog stick its sooo much easier then the d-pad plus it saves your thumb 2, the ken fireball thing is easy, after you pressed the kick start doing fireball and it'll start doing it for you. whos got the most powerful ultra? abels ultra is mad it takes like 65% energy, and when you combine that with a leg sweep its like 85%, only prob is you gotta keep getting hit to pull it off.
