Comms with the company are fine, I missed the email they sent - In my defence I get about 150 emails a day so it's easy done. Sorry about the delay.

Postage is the same as buying one - £10.00

Sorry for the delay guys works been mental this week, the only free time I had to send out the PM's the SN servers were down. If I have missed sending you a PM let me know please.

Brackets will be sent out as payments arrive. Please put your username on any payment sent with paypal. Please allow a few days for them to be cut and drilled etc, the guy making them is doing them in between his regular work.

All you need to do is drill the 2 small holes that mount the extinguisher to the bracket, bolts are supplied. If you need these drilling then let me know the hole centres and I'll have them drilled for you, I have not had these drilled just incase the brackets are different from the hole centres on the extinguisher I bought.

Just phoned PLR and paid for my extinguisher - they didn't want my SN username

Also they can't tell me when it will be delivered but I need to make sure someone is at home everyday next week because if not the extinguisher will be returned to them which costs more and they'll add that to the price !

Nice and straightforward then

Just paid for the bracket by Paypal

Could you not get it delivered elsewhere? I send most stuff to my mates garage.

I gave them my parents address as i'm at work all day. I have most things delivered there and they are usually in but obviously I can't say to them they have to stay in all day everyday next week when I have no idea when it'll be delivered.

If PLR had said it will definately be there on Monday or Tuesday etc that would have been different.

Just have to hope it's delivered when someone is in

I'll give them a bell, but if this is the case then I'll have to go elsewhere because I can't afford to sit around all week doing nothing. I refuse to pay extra because they cannot find a carrier that offers a degree of flexibility - even Royal Mail can do flexibility

My local friendly garage is about 10 miles away and as the car is off the road whilst I do a few jobs on it I won't be able to get there to pick them up. House next door is empty and my mates are generally sat here in the office with me all day, so no go there. With Royal Mail the sorting office and local post office are a stones throw away so we can usually get there to pick them up as the wife only works part-time. But she can't be sat around all day for a week waiting for a delivery.I'll give them a bell, but I find it amazing that a company as well established as PLR hasn't got a better carrier.

All paid up. No mention on the phone of the needing to be in for delivery ... but my wifes at home most of the time anyway, so hopefully won't be a problem. Definitely sounds like they need to change the courier they use!

I've placed the order. I asked about the delivery and they said if you leave a note for the courier with instructions they'll normally be okay. I asked about leaving instructions to leave the package in a safe place and the response was that it shouldn't be a problem. The carrier they use in UK Mail which in the past have been okay with me. I'll leave a note and see what happens.

Right i'm going to get the bars posted out to the people who have paid so far. I can't post out one at a time as I need to get a few made at once and I'm not doing daily trips to the post office in my dinner hour. I think 8 people have paid so far so I will post those on Saturday. Sorry about the delay but the sooner everyone pays the sooner I can get them all out.

I'll update tonight with those who have paid and those outstanding. As usual any probs drop me a PM

Received my extinguisher today. In the group buy the price was £20 + £10 delivery but I have been charged £33.01

Might seem petty but if 15 people have been charged the extra £3.01 thats an extra £45 !

Has anyone else received yours yet and how much were you charged ?

Ditto, it seems the postage price quoted was VAT inclusive for the postage and VAT exclusive for the extinguisher from what I read on the invoice. At least you received your whole order. I ordered 2 and guess what, I've only got one.

I'm about to email PLR to see what is going on
