Only just remembered this thread! Just had a good look through and there's been some lovely stuff (particularly the blue ovals).

Anyway, mine isn't exactly a long history but it's been a lot of fun nonetheless. Here's comes a lengthy post, sorry in advance...!

1. 1999 Volkswagen Polo (Navy blue) - Big stereo: Alpine, Mission, DLS etc, you're only young once!

2. 2000 Rover 25 (Black) - then you get old and buy a Rover, the Polo's stereo, 16" OZ F1 copies and std suspension worthy of a dune buggy

3. 2000 Mini Cooper Sport 500 (BRG and Silver) - minor engine mods. Sold to my Dad for far too cheap and he still has it today

4. 2002 MG TF160 Sprint (X-Power Grey with grey roof) - standard and absolutely loved the horrible little thing! Also sold to my parents and the head gasket blew 5 days later at 13k miles so I felt vindicated after the Mini!

5. 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon (Black Mica) - 270bhp, Tein lowering springs (soon to be BC coils), Rota GRA's (soon to be something else, project waiting in my garage!), Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas, Goodridge braided lines with 5.1, Carbonetics Fast Road/Race pads, Sparco wipers(!)

6. 1980 Mini (MG Ignition Blue) - Lightened bodyshell, 91bhp 1275cc MG Metro engine with custom Stage 3 head, HIF44 carb, RC40 stainless exhaust, K&N filter, 1.5 Roller Tip Rockers, KAD Quickshift, Cobra Monaco seats, Luke 4-pt harnesses, Mk2 dash with original Smith's dials, Mk1 grille, Gp5 Arches, Mk7 doors, Mk7 wing mirrors, Mountney steering wheel (soon to be Moto-Lita), 6x10" Minilights, Yokohama A008's, Gaz Suspension (height and damping adjustable), race rubber cones, polybushed, solid teardrop mounts, solid front tower subrafme mounts, Rear Camber Brackets, adjustable front camber, rose jointed bottom arms, KAD CNC 4-pot brakes, 7.5" vented and grooved discs, Mintex pads, Goodridge braided lines with 5.1, s/s bumpers... erm think that's about it!

My pride and joy before my unexpected Subaru ownership:

An MG ZR with one of Longbridge's finest 2.0litre, 16v turbo "Tomcat" engines.
Made 217bhp on the rollers with a "fairly" standard 12 year old engine.
That power in a car weighing just over a ton meant it could keep up with almost anything from a rolling start. The mid-range power was fearsome.
Highly unreliable tho with it being a Rover!!
