My Nova was just as bad, but the cav was a continuous work in progress.

I wasn't too bad from the body, but when I dropped the engine out I found the coil pack was shagged (£200), the breather system was completely blocked and the bulk-head was being held together by the paint.

By time I stripped it and sold the bits I pulled in about £3500, not bad for a 12 year old cavalier

It covered the deposit on the bug so I wasn't going to complain. Also had to sell my compressor so I didn't do the same to this one, but I'm thinking about another, just don't tell Tina

mags, how fast would you compare it to a scoob? i saw one the other day the previous model to the above and it sounded like a rocket

been given an offer i cant refuse so just checking if its worth doing

 

am i right in saying these models ^^ only way 1495kg compared to the rs6 which ways nearly 2000kg

 

I think you'd be very disappointed unless you do a lot of motorway cruising.
Fast in a straight line is one thing, fast round corners is quite another.....

Some figures:

RS4 0-60=4.8 0-100=12.1 1620kg 236bhp/ton ('00-'02 model 375bhp standard)
RS6 0-60=4.8 0-100=11.6 1865kg 242bhp/ton ('02-'04 model 444bhp standard)
Spec C 0-60=4.3 0-100=11.1 1380kg 247bhp/ton ( 335bhp I used a spec C as I know yours isn't running standard power)

My old M5 has virtually the same figures as the RS6 and didn't feel anywhere near as quick as my subaru (until you hit about 130 )
