on another note powerwrx, if you read my spec youi will see i went the whole hog and spent a fortune. Now although Bob Rawle got me where i should have been, i still ofthenthink about ported headers, etc.
I still feel even now i am spooling too late, or obviously later then the TD04 i had on.
I must say if i am being honest, i would love to try my car with ported headers and Bob's mapping and then compare against what it is now.
But alas, the money i have spent means this is not an option for me.
But i would and do advise people to go the ported way rather than spend what i did! Go for it, map it, and enjoy it! And as one sad TV pundit would say, compared to any other option, the ported headers are 'as cheap as chips!"

They serve a purpose, but i do sometimes think that ported would have been better yes. There is no doubt it is by far cheaper for the gains i would say, certainly for my 'meagre' power needs.
For big power you need them. For my territory you dont.

I see what you mean.

Think I will still go Tubular, as I will be going over 400.

Thanks
