Buy a few stalls/houses early on in the game and rent them out, also pick up everything from chests/dig spots (get your dog's treasure hunting skills improved) and sell all the stuff you find which you don't need. Rented property earns you money even when the xbox is turned off

Shame I donn't still have the game because I could have gifted you 2-3 months of all my rental income .....

What I was gonna try was pulling the power out of the 360 to reset the date back to Nov 2005, buy some houses, save and then restart the console with the internet plugged in to bring it up to Jan 2009 - hoping that 3 years worth of rent will be added to my gold account...

Ive got Fable, and i also have 7 million to give away.
Someone gave it to me and i was going to use it to buy stuff but to be honest i prefer to earn my cash and it kinda took the excitement away from it.
Dont forget you can go in to options and turn on other peoples orbs so you can see where other people are in the game and interact with them
