The agent who dealt with the deal for Arsenal (peter something) said Arsenal were exceptional all the way through and moved heaven and earth for Arshavin. The whole dealings by Arsenal were superb, but the ruski's were fookin around the whole time. He went for 15 million and a contract that takes him upto the age of 32. The Arsenal board wanted to show the fans they are commited to competing with the best. All it needs is the rubber stamp from the FA now. But it is a done deal Phew.

He had a couple of good games in Euro 2008 and then went missing in the semi final. He should fit in well at Arsenal

Went missing is an under-statment. How he'll cope in the prem will be either interesting or heartbreaking. Perhaps he's another Henry, dissapears in big games outside of the prem, but scintilating in it.

find out today but Mr Wenger seems to think all will be ok. he never comes out and gives answers like that unless he's 99.9% certain.

There's no way Arsenal can be blaming Monday's bad weather for this deal having to be completed in "extra-time". They've had 5 weeks to sort it out during this window (and plenty of time to come to an agreement before) and Arshavin himself was already in London on Sunday, so, (unless Arshavin was trying to get around London by bus or tube ) why should the Premier League sanction a deal that was not completed before 5.00pm like every other club in the land?

I know they will, but it doesn't seem at all fair. Everyone knows the rules, but why doesn't everyone stick to them?

I am sure your are right, but I would have thought that the release of a player's registration was an integral part of the paperwork supplied to the FA. If he's not even been released, then how can the transfer be considered complete at 4.30pm yesterday?

I wouldn't be happy if I was a Premier League chairman: especially if he scores a vital goal against my team at the business end of the season (ain't that right Mr Tevez?)

Bleedin hell, i did'nt realise how quick he is on the ball. Seems to have very quick deceptive feet, and a stonking turn of pace as well as an obviously very good head for players around him.

Plus i told you all yesterday it was a done deal. Listen to TALK SPORT, they are always first, due to all there agent/ex pro's/director contacts. Also they had an interview on, with Arshavin talking in it, and at the end of the interview he said, at last now i'm a GOONER Brilliant, fookin brilliant.
