lol it's probably down to the Arsenal board offering 50p and a ham sandwich for his services.
One thing with this board is never believe any transfer talk until the bloke is revealed at a press conference. I so wish this board would do the honourable thing and sell the club to David Deins company who could then pile the cash in and buy the palyers we need. At the moment we have a board in place who are more interested in Highbury's redevelopment than the football team

The sad story is. The Arsenal board, say we have 70 mill to spend, but and it's a big but. Wenger wont spend it. After all we really dont need an Arshavin type player, we need a spine in thayt team. Jeez, Man-u have just spent another 20 mill on squad players. That's what you need to do if you want to stay on top. It sickens me to say it, but i cant see Arsenal winning anything again for a long time. Man-u have it all sown up and Wengers policy of MY YOUNG players crap, will only ever keep us in suspense. And no end product. He's a great manager and needs either back up or to wake up, depending on what you believe.

How, brilliant was pires, ffs. Never ever replaced any of them. Please GOD, i hope we dont get Arshavin, he really is pants. Just try what i said, put Toure in the midfield holding role. Keep Bendtner, for the money we would get, keep him. He does have a knack of pulling off neady goals, and he plays in the Arsenal way. Bergkamp is still the greatest player I have ever seen. The team we had with him and Henry, Vieira, Petit, Pires, Ljungberg, Adams, Keown, Seaman was something else. I don't think we will ever have team as great as that again with that many stars in it.

Def was the best team ive seen so far. Like watching Arsenal tv and see some of the old stuff i grew up with.
Arshavin isnt rubbish mate and i hope we do sign him, havent seen much in terms of creativity lately. Nasri hasnt really been on form.
Watched the reserves yday and wilshere is looking superb. Eduardo wasnt looking to sharp but played full 90

how can he be happy with his squad at the moment i mean how many teenagers have we got on the bench? alright there pretty talented but still teenages none the less. i wish we could've signed a player like felliani or cuellar players that are strong and battle and good with the ball, its all well good knowing how to pass the ball, but you also have to tackle aswell which we don't seem to be very good at

3 days left in the transfer market and no signings so far. The Russians are holding out for £15m lump sum but Arsenal want to pay £12m + £3m and Arshavin wants high wages and bonuses paid up from the Russians which they have told him to forget about. It doesn't look like it's going to happen and Wenger will spew out the same old boll0x that he is happy with his lot. That would be the lot that earnt an injury time 1-1 draw with Everton tonight leaving us 5th in the Premiership falling further and further behind Villa?

Because at the moment every creative midfield player in the squad is injured. Walcott, Fabregas and Rosicky I don't expect back any time soon no matter what Wenger keeps trawling out. I just don't believe anything he says any more. The current teams he keeps playing are devoid of any creativity and are the worst teams i've seen for many many years yet he says he is happy with these players. How the **** can he compare the current squad to that of 4 and more years ago?! Quite frankly we are **** and it's very frustrating as a fan to see the Club go down hill and go from an amazing squad to the worst squad I can remember. All because of a new stadium and redeveloping Highbury. The squad comes first not their business investments. The current board can **** right off as far as i'm concerned.
